Kaettekita Mario Bros. is a game for the Family Computer Disk System released on November 30, 1988 through the Disk Writer service. This game was co-published by Nintendo and Nagatanien, a Japanese food company. It is an updated version of Mario Bros. that was released only in Japan, although the 1993 European Classic Series re-release resembles it, using the same enemy sprites and colors from this game. The is the last Super Mario game for the Family Computer Disk System, excluding ports, as well as the last Super Mario game to be released during the Shōwa era of Japan, coming out just over a month before the death of emperor Hirohito.
What's new?
- The gameplay is closer to the original arcade game, compared to the version released on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and also includes new levels.
- The player can change direction during a jump.
- Graphics and music (thanks to the Famicom's sound chip) are improved over the arcade or Famicom versions.
- Players can save their high score.
- More game modes.

Further information :
Please note: once you've chosen the number of players, an intro will be launched, chosen at random, as there are several introductions, but only one will allow you to play the game (the one with the 3 characters), so don't hesitate to relaunch the game if it's not this intro, as the game will crash.Once you've finished the right intro, you'll be asked to change "side". Simply press the SHIFT+B keys on your keyboard to change "side".
