Following the death of Professor REGIS CHEN at the age of 89, his son Professor REINER undertook to respect his last wishes, namely to solve the mystery of the shynisation of POKéMON in the UNIUM region. He has therefore moved into a brand new laboratory in this region, and taken all his employees with him, including your father.
Freshly recruited as a young POKéMON researcher, help your family and colleagues solve the great mystery behind this evil that is spreading throughout the POKéMON world!
In this new POKéMON adventure, you'll be rediscovering POKéMON from a whole new angle, one that would make the most envious of shiny-hunters swoon, because as you'll have gathered, this time it's the non-shiny POKéMON that have become extremely rare (reverse shiny rate).
My game aims to be a complete POKéMON game, so in addition to the classic POKéMON LEAGUE quest and the POKéDEX, it contains a main story and its post-game, side quests, numerous legends and even a world championship where you'll face off against the LEAGUE masters from all the regions of the official games.
Further information :
- POKéMON are all shinys (the shiny rates are reversed, so it's possible to be a "non-shiny hunter")- Mew can be obtained through a separate quest at the same time as the first legendaries (= CS SURF), so you can play with him for a long time.
- Special/physical split and FEE type implemented, as well as some of the new attacks from 4G to 8G.
- The 386 capturable POKéMON are a compilation of the best existing POKéMON from 1G to 8G, based on Over-Used and Under-Used statistics from the SMOGON strategy site. Special upgrades and/or upgrades linked to exchanges will generally be made via levels (information on alternative upgrades will be available directly in-game).
- A Main Story and its Post-Game offering a long lifespan for my game, and dealing with a deeper subject than those unfortunately chosen by the official licence (You'll be about 1/3 of the way through the game when you've finished the LEAGUE, and you'll need a good 40 hours to finish the main quest).
- The game takes place in a new region and much more besides (more places can be visited than in KANTO and JOTHO combined)
- Progressive difficulty: easy at the start to allow new players to learn the strategy, then big challenges at the end to put your strategy to the test. The difficulty is designed so that you never need to grind wild POKéMON or even use nuzelock to increase the difficulty (only trainers need be faced)
- Some new music imported from the Emerald version for greater musical diversity.
- Some rare fakemons (but not many):
* The starter trio designed by me, which are my personal POKéMON based on the STALL/TANK/SWEEP strategic archetype trio and not the WATER/PLANT/FEU types (you'll hardly come across them for the rest of the game because I'm not a talented graphic artist!)
* Special bosses with annoying stats, uncapturable and not referenced in the pokédex (except Effraiwall). I had them designed by AI to make them look good (I'd have called in a graphic artist, but I can't afford one). These cheat fakemons are given as rewards if you complete the main quest.
- You can choose a real classic starter after 5-10 minutes from 12 different ones (1G, 3G, 7G, 8G). You can also choose a random POKéMON instead of this starter.
