This game is a second story about the curious appearance of DarkLugia in Pokémon XD Lords of Shadow. This time, a more malignant team of the known Team Alpha comes into action aiming to make all the Pokémon dark to make themselves stronger, but there are a trio of guardians who fight against this Team: the guardians of Harmony: Cobalion, Keldeo and Virizion, and also the guardians of the time: Entei, Raikou and Suicune.
