This rom has no save and when you take a star and die it respawns or changes zones everything will respawn, enemy, coin, star, etc.
Example: A zone and like the first stage, and if you go to world 2 you will change zones and all that you have collected in world 1 will reappear.
There are also the gray stars from Mario 64 DS, pick up in 5 and a star will appear.
There are no bosses or stars when you pick up the 100 coins, and if you quit your party you will have lost all the stars you picked up.

Indispensable: In Project64, click on "Options" then on "Settings" in the "Options" tab, you must uncheck the box "Hide advanced settings".Then you have to go back to the settings, there will be many more tabs, click on "ROM settings", and set the size of the RDRAM to 8mo
Note:
You can press the L button to activate a wingcap that will drain your coins. This is necessary to collect all stars. The game won't actually safe your progress, so don't die.
