This hack introduces several custom mechanics, including revised camera controls. The Mario-cam and Lakitu close-up are no longer available, but the camera can now zoom out further and rotate freely on its x-axis. These adjustments support a new gravity mechanic, inspired by Super Mario Galaxy, allowing Mario to walk on surfaces that were previously inaccessible.
Other changes include the removal of fall damage, disabling of exit level warps after collecting Stars, and alterations to certain enemies. The Giant Piranha Plants now have modified appearance and behavior, and Eye-Rok has increased health.
In this hack, Mario accesses levels by sitting in an armchair and falling asleep, opening a menu to enter unlocked courses. Each Power Star has a unique color: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and pink. The final, rainbow-colored Star appears after collecting the first eight in the main level, SandGear Mirage, while the pink Star is located in the Bowser level, Hotdog Station.

The game requires the expansion pack to run, so don’t forget to enable it!In Project64, go to "Options" and click on "Settings." Under the "Options" tab, uncheck "Hide advanced settings." Then, return to the settings menu, where you’ll see more tabs. Click on "ROM Settings" and set the RDRAM size to 8MB.
