New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a continuation of the Super Mario Bros. games. As with the original, players jump, dash and grab power ups such as the Super Mushroom and the the Fire Flower, which lets them throw fireballs at their foes. New powerups have been added too - the Propeller Hat allows players to zoom vertically up in the air, and then glide back down, the Ice Flower lets players freeze enemies into icy blocks, and the Penguin Suit gives them traction on ice as well as allowing them to belly slide. Yoshi, from Super Mario World makes a return, as well - players can ride him and he'll eat enemies and berries in levels.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Black Edition, a collector's edition of Most Wanted, was released in celebration of the Need for Speed series' 10th anniversary and in conjunction with the release of Most Wanted. The Black Edition features additional races, bonus cars and other additional content. The Black Edition comes with a special feature DVD that contains interviews and videos about the game. The Black Edition was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in the United States and Australia; only the PlayStation 2 version of Black Edition was released additionally for Europe.

The next chapter in Final Fantasy takes the series to the next level. Link is a young boy who lives with his grandmother on the Outset Island, one of the many small islands lost amidst the waters of the Great Sea. On his tenth birthday, Link encounters a giant bird carrying a girl. Link rescues the girl, but as a result his own sister is taken away by the bird. The unknown girl is a pirate captain named Tetra, who agrees to help Link find and rescue his sister. During the course of their journey the two realize that a powerful, legendary evil is active again, and must find a way to stop him.

The Wind Waker is the tenth installment in the Zelda series. Like its predecessors, it is an action game with puzzle-solving and light role-playing elements. Basic gameplay mechanics are similar to those found in Ocarina of Time: Link explored 3D outdoor areas and dungeons, fighting enemies and occasionally solving environmental puzzles. An addition to the combat system is the ability to parry at specific times, which is needed to overcome armored foes. Another new feature is picking up and using some of the weapons wielded by the enemies. Similarly to previous games, Link can use tools such as bow and arrow, boomerang, and bombs.

Link needs to sail through the Great Sea in order to travel to other islands. He uses a baton called the Wind Waker to change wind direction by conducting it and producing melodies. The Wind Waker is also used for teleportation and puzzle-solving purposes. Link can use wind currents to glide and access remote areas.

Visually, the game utilizes cel-shaded graphics to create a cartoon-like appearance. The characters' bodily proportions and facial features are not realistic, complementing the style. Link's big eyes, in particular, also have a gameplay-related function, giving clues to the player by looking at specific items needed to solve puzzles.

In earlier times, the world was ravaged by endless war and conflict. The fighting only ceased when five sisters with godlike powers used their song magic to defeat the warlords and bring peace throughout the lands. These Intoners now rule over various parts of the world, where they are adored and worshipped by their subjects. However, there is a sixth and eldest sister, Zero, who wishes to kill her siblings and take their power for herself. One year after failing to defeat the other Intoners, Zero sets out with her dragon Mikhail to kill them one by one.

Taking place about a century prior to the first Drakengard, this game puts the player in the role of Zero, who can be accompanied by up to two AI characters who join over the course of the story. Gameplay is largely similar to other entries in the series, comprised of hack-and-slash fighting on the ground and aerial combat in which Zero rides Mikhail. Performing combos fills up Zero's Tension Gauge, which she can tap into to unleash her Intoner powers. In Intoner Mode, Zero's speed and attack power increase, and she becomes invulnerable to enemy attacks. Zero can use four different types of weapons: swords, bracers, chakrams, and spears, and each individual weapon can be leveled up the more it is used in combat.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is a remastered release of Dark Souls II. Next to the main game with all patches it includes the three DLC packs: Dark Souls II: Crown of the Sunken King, Dark Souls II: Crown of the Old Iron King, Dark Souls II: Crown of the Ivory King.

The gameplay has been slightly changed by removing certain safe zones and adding new NPCs and enemies, including the Forlorn. The placing of enemies have been changed to create a whole new game dynamic, specifically for returning players. Online and the campaign have had game balance tweaks, improved online matchmaking, better quality graphics and different item descriptions.

On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is based on the movie of the same name. The player assumes the role of Harry Potter, who must battle against Lord Voldemort and his followers. The game allows non-linear exploration of the school where Harry can use unlocked portraits to teleport or call a ghost to find the fastest way to missions. The primary objective involves discovering roughly 150 hidden crests to unlock achievements, requiring the use of spells as Harry has lost his ability to jump and climb.

The main focus lies in three mini-games: magical duels used to learn and improve spells, Quidditch as a test of reaction where the player slightly controls Harry's broom, and potion brewing where the player replicates recipes within a time limit while managing errors.

An online update of Sega GT 2002. Race 165 cars from the 50s to the concepts either in the classic GT 2002 mode or against human players on Xbox Live.

In GT 2002 mode, the player must work their way up the hill by first buying a cheaper car and winning cash or prize cars in order to acquire better vehicles. SEGA GT Online adds new parts and new cars to the shop, and allows the limited slip differential to be modified. Prize money and prices have been modified as well, and new tracks, including a facsimile of Laguna Seca, reverse tracks, and races set in the morning, evening, and night, have been added to the returning races.

The player can jump right in the action by selecting a car, from a Chevelle to a Fiat, then a track location, from an American desert to a European village. In addition to the returning Chronicles mode there is also now a Gathering mode with 30 check point, license test, and racing line challenges. As with Chronicles each completed challenge unlocks a car for purchase in GT 2002 mode.

Online, players could participate in races with other human players, or trade parts with them. As Xbox Live has been shut down this mode is no longer accessible.

With Nintendogs, you can put a puppy inside your Nintendo DS. Pick from multiple breeds, ranging from Labradors to Chihuahuas, and then take care of and train the puppy using the touch screen and microphone. If you train your puppy well enough, you can compete in dog shows and agility contests to unlock other items and puppy breeds.

Hong Kong action director Shao Ting is ready to film his latest blockbuster movie, but the lead role is still up for grabs. In the year 2401 the space marine Sergeant Cortez is leaving the space station that he visited in the end of his previous journey. He soon discovers that the crystals he has found can power up a time machine. After having located traces of TimeSplitter activities in various time periods on the Earth, Cortez boards the time machine and travels to these periods, hoping to aid various characters in their battles against evil.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is a first-person shooter in which players battle their way through thirteen story missions spread across six time periods, either alone or cooperatively. The protagonist's arsenal varies depending on the time period he travels to: for example, traveling to 1924 will allow Cortez to wield World War I weapons; a Soviet setting in the 1960's contains various local firearms of that time period; stages that take place in the future feature corresponding futuristic weaponry, etc. In addition to fast-paced shooting gameplay there are also some stealth and vehicle-driving segments.

Like in the previous installments of the series, various multiplayer modes are included. Players can take on computer-controlled opponents on any of the fifteen arcade maps, or make their own ones. Players can also compete for awards in dozens of arcade league matches and challenges. It is possible to choose from between 150 characters and challenge other players to a head-to-head battle, either with up to four-player split screen or online and LAN play.

In an all new 2D side-scrolling adventure, Mario and Luigi return after nearly fifteen years. The first traditional Mario Bros. game since Super Mario World.

The character models are rendered in real time 3D, allowing for a far greater number of moves ever before seen in a Mario Bros. title. Also as the game is on DS, the touch screen allows players to store an additional power-up and view the distance still to go in a level.

Bowser and Bowser Jr. has kidnapped Princess Peach, and of course, it is up to Mario and Luigi to rescue her and take down the troublemakers. There are eight new worlds to explore, much like in Mario 3: they are Plains, Desert, Tropical Island, Forest, Ice, Mountains, Sky, and Bowser's Lair.

The eight worlds have eighty distinct levels as well as many secrets that will only be found on careful examination. There are also many new power-ups (the mega mushroom and Koopa shell, for instance) for the brothers to collect.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the fourth major installment in the series, developed by Hideo Kojima. It resolves previous plotlines by reintroducing characters from earlier games. The story follows an aged Solid Snake deployed to the Middle East in 2014 to thwart Liquid Ocelot, who aims to control the Sons of the Patriots and build an army.

The game introduces new actions, an enhanced camera, and a redesigned combat system. Camouflage is replaced by Octocamo, and the stamina gauge by a stress meter, affecting accuracy based on combat and climate conditions. Snake has access to a diverse array of customizable weapons.

Gadgets include the Solid Eye (electronic binoculars) and the Metal Gear Mk. II (exploration and stunning robot). The multiplayer, Metal Gear Online, features original modes like "Sneaking Mission" and "Team Sneaking" based on stealth elements.

Black Ops II is the ninth main title in the Call of Duty first-person shooter franchise and the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is set primarily in the near future of 2025 with one third of the game also taking place in the late 1980s. Players follow the interconnected stories of Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and David Mason, while the antagonist, Raul Menendez, carries out a decade-long vendetta at the heart of the single-player campaign. The plot centers around a new conflict between China and the United States over rare earth elements (REE) and their manipulation by Menendez.

Regarding the gameplay, Black Ops II introduces sandbox-style missions called Strike Force, allowing players to command troops and drones from an overhead view, with the ability to switch to first-person shooter controls. The multiplayer features familiar game modes and a ranking system. A new ten-point system for customizing loadouts is introduced, and killstreaks are renamed "scorestreaks" to encourage objective-based play. New scorestreaks like lightning strikes and unmanned dragonfire drones are also added.

NieR is an action RPG with a touch of Japanese influenced gameplay. The story takes place around 1,000 years ahead of our time in a mysterious world, where the earth as we know it, no longer exists. Nier is also the name of the main character who is seeking for a cure for his dying daughter. Nier is accompanied by a talking book named Grimoire Weiss, also used to shoot projectiles at enemies. Progressing through the game yields new powers and different weapons.

Main and side quests lead the party to various battles, controlled in a hack-and-slash manner using melee and ranged weapons as well as magic spells. Weapons can be upgraded and specialized to deal improved damage against certain enemies. The camera can be controlled throughout most parts of the game. The view switches to isometric or 2D-side scrolling at some locations.

The Japanese version of the game comes in two editions: NieR RepliCant​ (PS3) and NieR Gestalt (Xbox 360). The major differences involve Nier's appearance and his relationship to the character Yonah. All other international releases are based on NieR Gestalt, regardless of the platform.

In MySims Agents, the player must stop the evil plans of Morcubus. To accomplish this, the player must recruit different MySims with different traits to do different things to make a crime-busting team. You do many tasks such as following footprints, picking locks, hacking computers, and collecting clues and evidence to the case. The player has many gadgets to use to help with these tasks. There are many locations that you must look for clues and evidence, including an icy cave with a yeti, a spooky mansion, a beach boardwalk, and even an ancient temple. The game relies heavily on the Wii motion control for doing tasks. You also have your own headquarters, for which you can customize the layout and put down furniture unlocked during the mysteries.

Oliver was alone after his mother died trying to save him from drowning. When he sheds tears over a doll she made for him, it comes to life as Drippy, Lord High Lord of the Fairies. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a role-playing game which follows a similar story to the previous game, Shikkoku no Madōshi, but taking a different turn near the middle. The player controls Oliver and his Familiars, summon-able creatures who share Oliver's HP and MP but whose other attributes are their own. Enemies wonder the overworld and dungeons and the player goes into battle with them when they run into them. Combat is real-time with the player giving commands for attacks which last a set time. The player can switch between Oliver and a Familiar in the party at any time, but the Familiars can only stay in battle for a certain amount of time before they need to be retired from the encounter.

During the game, Oliver will encounter people with a surplus or deficit of certain personality traits such as enthusiasm. He must take the surplus from those with and give it to those with a deficit. Oliver can also run errands for people he encounters, which provide him with merit stamps he can exchange for rewards.

Fight Night Champion is a boxing game on Playstation 3. Incorporate a large number of boxers, from the Filipino Manny Pacquiao to the British Ricky Hatton. The game offers free fights, online multiplayer, a fully scripted Champion mode and a Career mode in which you can create your own boxer and improve each of his shots on 20 levels.

Set after the events of Final Fantasy VII and the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie, Dirge of Cerberus lets players take the role of the mysterious Vincent Valentine.

After a new organization arises from the events known as "Meteorfall", Vincent is called to the surviving town of Kalm by Reeve Tuesti, an old ally who controlled Cait Sith. Vincent has been invited to the town's celebration, but during the festivities, a group of soldiers attacks the town, killing and capturing the people. It is up to Vincent to protect the innocent once more, and find out why these soldiers are also after him.

While set in the world of Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus is an action shooter that runs through twelve chapters. The on-screen action can be controlled by the analog controller, or via the Playstation 2's mouse and keyboard accessories, making it more in line with PC-style shooters. Being a character driven shooter, the perspective can be changed from first to third person on the fly to navigate through the multi-level environments.

Several items and characters from the series make their return, as well as the Chaos break limits system, which allows Vincent to take the monstrous forms he changed into from Final Fantasy VII to inflict more damage on the enemy. Taking a nod from its RPG-based parent, the game does allow Vincent to find the usual healing items, materia spells and gil from the Final Fantasy universe, in which he can buy and sell for other new items.

The game also features a weapon customization system, which allows the player to mix and match weapon parts to form more powerful attack items and abilities.

Some say there's nothing finer than a well-crafted automobile. Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, which brings the series to the PS2, features over 150 of the world's top performing sports cars, luxury autos, modified street runner, rally racers, and prototype evolutionary automobiles. Each car looks and handles exactly as they should, thanks to the detailed graphics and realistic physics. Choose your favorite car from a large group of manufacturers including Nissan, Ford, Toyota, and Mercedes-Benz. Race head-to-head with another player or up to six players via iLink. Gran Turismo 3 is a true car-lover's dream.

In 2007, two years after the Shadow Moses incident, Solid Snake - now working for a freelance organization known as Philanthropy - infiltrates the oil tanker U.S.S. However, the matters become increasingly complicated as almost everyone Raiden communicates with appears to have a hidden agenda, and it is hard to tell a friend from foe...

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is the sequel to the espionage action game Metal Gear Solid. Much of the gameplay remains the same, as the game's protagonist has to sneak past guards, outsmart them using various gadgets, and defeat the tricky boss enemies. There are a host of weapons to be picked up through out the game, some old, such as the FAMAS and Socom, and some new, such as the AK-47. Martial arts combos can be used to disable guards. It is possible to crawl through small spaces, peek around corners, and perform acrobatic leaps to get away. The protagonist can also hang from railings, effectively hiding from guard, or stick his gun in a guard's back, surprising him. The cardboard box is also back, and can once again be used for hiding.

Gadgets such as sneak suit, mine detector, thermal goggles and others can be found along the way.. The radar from the original game is still there and alerts the player to guards' positions and also shows their field of view. If an alarm is sounded the radar is disabled while the hero has to escape. In some situations it is necessary to enable the radar before it becomes possible to use it.

Like its predecessor, the game is heavy on codec conversations and cutscenes. All the cutscenes in the game use the in-game 3D engine; the characters' movements are motion captured animations.

Developed by the legendary Project Soul team, SOULCALIBUR V picks up 17 years after the events of SOULCALIBUR IV with new heroes and returning warriors clashing in an epic showdown between good and evil. Shank 2 is the sequel to Shank and just like the first game it is a 2D side-scrolling platformer based around fighting multiple enemies at once, combined with jumping and climbing platform elements. After the events of the first game Shank travels to a country with a South American setting in search of Linda, the woman who raised him at the orphanage. The country is ruled by Magnus, who was elected after promising to deal with the illegal cartels. He has a weak heart however and Linda appears to be the only one who can provide him with a viable transplant, so he kidnaps her. The events start when Shank's bus is halted and due to his fights against Magnus's minions the locals think he joins their rebellion.

Combat is based around chaining attacks together, using revolvers, knives, a shotgun, a chainsaw, a baseball bat, grenades, mines, and more. Offensive attacks combine melee combat with long-ranged attacks, and always with a cartoon-like, over-the-top sense of violence and gore. The block ability from the first game has been replaced by a roll maneuve tot dodge incoming attacks. Entirely new is a counter action. When enemies attack a red exclamation mark appears above their heads. When timed correctly it is possible to grapple them, prevent the attack, and counter with an instant kill. The type of counter attack is different for each type of equipped weapon. Shooting has been made more fluent and it is now possible to switch weapons mid-air or more quickly in the middle of a combo. Weapons can no longer be traded in during levels. It is defined at the start of the game (with a number of weapons that need to be unlocked) and the gear load-out can now be changed after death. Sometimes it is possible to use or activate items in the environment to take out many opponents at once. There are also items such as turrets, decoys, and even a wild boar that can be introduced to hinder the enemy.

Next to the main Campaign story mode with two difficulty levels there is a Survival mode with the goal to survive as long as possible fighting waves of enemies on one of three levels. Survival can be played in offline and online multiplayer for two players, replacing the local cooperative campaign multiplayer mode from the first game. The multiplayer mode introduces 16 different characters each with their own abilities, health bonuses, items discounts and damage modifiers. The characters can also be unlocked for the Campaign mode. During the game different types of rebel intelligence can be collected and these can be viewed in a separate gallery.

Dog's Life lets you take on the role of a hound--one that can play fetch, sniff out food, and chase chickens, among other things. Set in the rural Midwest United States countryside, the game starts you off on a journey that spans the country and takes you everywhere from ski resorts to lively cities along the way. As Jake, a pup with a nose for adventure, you must solve a sinister dog-napping plot that involves the canine-hating Miss Peaches and Jake's pedigree friend, Daisy.

Welcome to Strangetown! In the Nintendo DS version of the Sims 2, players take on the role of the custodian of a broken down hotel in the middle of a strange, UFO-infested desert town.

The game is entirely real-time, meaning that as the clock advances in the real world, time will flow in the game. Guests check in and out after several (real) days, you'll see holidays come and go, and night and day will cycle depending when you choose to play the game.

In addition to the hotel management portion of the game, you'll be constantly improving your hotel, adding new rooms, and decorating them. Each new room usually offers a different touchscreen activities, so you'll find yourself composing music in the lounges, painting art in the gallery, dissecting aliens in the secret laboratory, and playing a pirate-themed card game in the casino (Moogoo Monkey, the card game from the Urbz DS also makes an appearance here if you can find it!).

Finally, there's a simple story running through the game, as different VIP guests check themselves in and refuse to leave. First you'll have to deal with the local mob boss, then a strange Goth girl with a fascination for magic, and finally a megalomaniacal robot.

If you can balance your own Sim's wants and needs (and sanity) with all your guests' requirements, you'll find Strangetown a happy, healthy place to live.

This was the first official sequel to "Street Fighter II - The World Warriors".

New gameplay additions included the ability to play as any of the four boss characters (increasing the playable roster to twelve) and the option for both players to use the same characters in two-player fights - with an alternate colour scheme introduced to distinguish them from each other. Some minor gameplay revisions were also made to balance the characters out.

Additionally, while in "World Warrior" one-player games could last up to ten rounds in the event of there being no clear winner (at which point the game made the player lose by default), in the Champion Edition this was reduced to just four rounds.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Falsebound Kingdom is a real-time strategy game with elements of a turn-based RPG. Most of the gameplay consists of navigating troops (commanded by a marshal), battling imperial forces and trying to emerge victorious in order to advance the storyline. Captured towns can be fortified; armories and infirmaries can be built in order to provide supplies and healing for the marshals. The actual battles are handled in a Japanese-style turn-based RPG fashion, the characters exchanging blows until either the player-controlled party or the opponents are defeated.

Les SDK (Super Deadly Kill) sont des super attaques qui nécessitent au moins 1 barre de power (cumulable à 5 et se remplissant au fur et à mesure des coups portés à l’adversaire) et 1 parchemin (5 par personnage), il est aussi possible de déclencher ces attaques en team jusqu’a 4 personnages en même temps, ils devront juste appuyer tous en même temps sur le bouton B (plus le level des héros sera élevé plus l’attaque sera puissante et impressionnante).

In this game, you don't only control Kalas and his party, but also play the role of Kalas' Guardian Spirit. From time to time Kalas will pose questions to you and ask for advise. Your answers will determine Kalas' general disposition and also his behavior in battles.

The gameplay system is largely based on cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, the player's goal is to defeat various characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime, and card game, eventually making it to the four Rulers of Ancient Egypt, who have the precious Millennium pieces. Each character must be defeated at least five times in order to get to the next stage. Typically, the goal of a card duel is to reduce the opponent's 8000 life points to zero; however, sometimes a duel can be won by forcing the opponent to run out of cards in their deck, or by having all five pieces of Exodia in one hand.

As usually in Yu-Gi-Oh! games, cards represent monsters: as a general rule, a monster with a higher attack and defense rating emerges victorious. However, in this game elemental affinities play a role as well. For example, a monster of the Aqua element will be beaten by a monster of the Thunder element even if his attack and defense ratings are somewhat higher.

The player can also create his/her own cards by combining card halves that can be obtained after winning a duel. A trade mode and a real-life battle mode (using the link cable) is also available.

Caesar II is set in the time of ancient Rome, and lets you try to be the next Caesar. You start with one province and have to build an efficient city. To do this you'll have to manage the water supply properly, make sure the city is policed well, and provide adequate education, entertainment, baths, and temples (which also hold your money and can be robbed if you don't have enough protection).

At some point, possibly more then once, you'll have to defend your province from invading tribes that don't really want you there. You also have to connect all the little villages in the province with roads and make some industry, like stone mining, grapes, etc. for which you can then create markets in your city.

When you have achieved the necessary requirements, you'll be able to start all over again in a new and more challenging province. Do well enough and you can become the new Caesar.

The Ultimate version of the Spider-Man mythos revamps the franchise, bringing in edgier (and often younger) versions of famous superheroes and supervillains. With few exceptions, Spider-Man and Venom can explore Manhattan and Queens, climbing, jumping, and web swinging away. Story missions show up as hot spots on the map as do other in-game objectives. When the player is done patrolling (or destroying) the city, they can hit these hot spots to advance the story. Between story missions, Spider-Man and Venom can follow race paths, go on combat tours, discover and collect hidden icons, and help (or hurt) the citizens of New York.

But what he lacks is confidence - help PaRappa rap his way through learning Kung Fu, a driving test, cooking and more, all in order to get the girl. And remember - You Gotta Believe!

PaRappa the Rapper is a game based on lyrics, music and rhythm. The game itself is very basic - each stage has a 'teacher', that PaRappa must follow. You'll see the teacher say some lyrics, and then PaRappa must copy the teacher by pressing the appropriate buttons to repeat those lyrics back. Rap well, and you'll be able to continue; fudge up the lyrics, and the music will start to distort and the teacher will become displeased. Continue to mess up and you'll fail the stage.

Of course, the goal is not to copy the teacher, but instead to outperform them - you can do this by improvising in the song's gaps. Listen to how the song goes, and improvise in time to the music; if you perform well enough, the teacher will step aside, leaving you to freestyle on your own!
