  1. Princess Peach has been kidnapped! Again! Everyone was celebrating the Princess' birthday when a giant birthday cake arrived... but then Bowser Jr. and the seven Koopalings popped out and kidnapped her! Mario, Luigi and two Toads make chase to rescue her once more. Will they succeed?

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a continuation of the Super Mario Bros. games. As with the original, players jump, dash and grab power ups such as the Super Mushroom and the the Fire Flower, which lets them throw fireballs at their foes. New powerups have been added too - the Propeller Hat allows players to zoom vertically up in the air, and then glide back down, the Ice Flower lets players freeze enemies into icy blocks, and the Penguin Suit gives them traction on ice as well as allowing them to belly slide. Yoshi, from Super Mario World makes a return, as well - players can ride him and he'll eat enemies and berries in levels.

  2. The events of the game take place in the early 1990's. The player takes control of Carl Johnson (C.J.), who had moved to Liberty City in order to distance itself from his past as a member of a gang in his home city, San Andreas. But the past catches up with him in a way he had not imagined: he finds out that his mother was killed by a rival gang. He goes back to San Andreas to attend her funeral. Realizing how corrupted local police is, seeing how his relatives and friends need him, determined to avenge his mother's death, C. J. has no other choice but revert to his old ways.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the fifth game in the GTA series. The basic premise remains the same: roam the "sandbox" environments, hijack cars, and complete missions to advance the story. The game's world is significantly larger than in its two immediate predecessors, encompassing three cities and a vast countryside between them, with smaller towns, mountains, rivers, and other places of interest. The interactivity with the environment is enhanced, since the player character can now swim and dive, being able to access every corner of the game world.

The missions vary in structure and gameplay, including chases, races, longer and more intense third-person shooter sequences, as well as a wide variety of vehicles to navigate, which range from different new types of cars (such as lowriders), bicycles, motorcycles, to boats, helicopters, planes, trains, and exotic devices such as monster trucks and jetpacks. Some of the missions involve recruiting gang members and attacking turfs belonging to rival gangs.

As in the previous games, there are many activities to perform outside of the missions. Working as a taxi driver, taking part in races, delivering sick people to hospital, etc., return from the preceding games in the series. San Andreas adds many new activities of its own, some of them with a role-playing flavor. C.J. can go to gym and work out, increasing his stamina. From time to time he has to eat - though overeating will make him look fatter. He is also able to have romantic relationships with certain female characters, asking them out on a dinner, giving them presents, etc.

  3. A follow up to the Dreamcast title Jet Grind Radio. The setting is Tokyo in the year 2024. Freedom is a valuable commodity and freedom of expression even more so. Gangs of misbehaving teens strap on rocket-powered roller blades and skate, grind, and mark their territory with graffiti tags.

Players take the role of the GGs, and can choose between any member of the gang, each with different stats, while in gang HQ. The city of Tokyo can be leisurely explored without a time limit, but the heat will be turned up when story missions are activated and the GGs find themselves being challenged by rival gangs or under attack from the cops. This time around spraying no longer requires thumbstick inputs; just roll up and start spraying away, although large tags still require more cans than smaller tags. Each section of the city has hidden objectives that are revealed by finding a hidden tape, and once completed these challenges will unlock new graffiti patterns.

In multiplayer modes players can challenge each other to races, point battles, and other competitions both in zones from the single player game as well as in special arenas.

  4. The court jester Dhoulmagus of the kingdom of Trodain stole a powerful magical scepter sealed beneath the royal castle. Using the power of the scepter, Dhoulmagus destroyed the castle, placed a curse upon the kingdom and its people, and turned King Trode into a troll and the princess into a horse. A sole surviving castle guard journeys with the king, the princess, a reformed bandit named Yangus and a few other companions in search of the evil jester and a way to break the curse.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is a traditional Japanese-style role-playing game with random enemy encounters, simple turn-based combat mechanics, and management of a party consisting of four characters, each belonging to a clearly defined class. Unlike its predecessors in the series and most Japanese RPGs in general, the game features a continuous world with fairly vast landscapes and integrated towns and dungeons, as opposed to world map traveling and locations represented by icons. The game features full camera rotation and optional first-person view. Like in the previous Dragon Quest games, many objects can be interacted with; for example, barrels can be physically lifted, carried, and broken, to reveal items hidden within.

In addition to experience points, the player receives skill points from battles, which can be manually allocated into a skill category of the player's choice. These categories include three different kinds of weapons, fisticuffs, and a discipline unique to each character. After a required amount of skill points has been invested into a particular category, the correspondent character learns a new ability or becomes more proficient with the chosen weapon. The Alchemy Pot system allows players to gather recipes and mix items to create new ones.

The international version of the game features several updates to the original Japanese version, including voice acting, graphic menu, symphonic soundtracks, and flashier effects.

  5. Tasked with protecting a village, the player character along with other angels (celestials) are attempting to reach God's land. By helping and protecting his town and earning their thanks, the main character obtains enough benevolence for the World Tree to produce the Goddess Fruit. This fruit is the only sure way to enter God's land. Things don't go according to plan, taking the player into the adventure proper.

Dragon Quest IX marks a number of firsts for the series: it is the first title to be initially launched for a handheld system and to have no real random encounters (unless travelling over sea). Instead the player can see the enemies on the map. Even though the game isn't the first main series title in 3D, for the first time all equipable items are visible on the characters models at all times.

Furthermore, the game was created with the intent of having a multiplayer focus: players can bring their adventurers into their friends' worlds via wireless connection to play alongside them and even swap copies of their heroes which may bring special items like treasure maps with them. There's also downloadable content available through Wi Fi, like new items and quests.

Similar to previous titles, combat is turn-based, where the player selects tasks for each of the characters: attack, use item, cast a spell etc. Like in Dragon Quest III, all party members are created by the player; unlike the hero, they don't fulfil specific roles in the narrative and may be swapped at a special service available at inns.

  6. In earlier times, the world was ravaged by endless war and conflict. The fighting only ceased when five sisters with godlike powers used their song magic to defeat the warlords and bring peace throughout the lands. These Intoners now rule over various parts of the world, where they are adored and worshipped by their subjects. However, there is a sixth and eldest sister, Zero, who wishes to kill her siblings and take their power for herself. One year after failing to defeat the other Intoners, Zero sets out with her dragon Mikhail to kill them one by one.

Taking place about a century prior to the first Drakengard, this game puts the player in the role of Zero, who can be accompanied by up to two AI characters who join over the course of the story. Gameplay is largely similar to other entries in the series, comprised of hack-and-slash fighting on the ground and aerial combat in which Zero rides Mikhail. Performing combos fills up Zero's Tension Gauge, which she can tap into to unleash her Intoner powers. In Intoner Mode, Zero's speed and attack power increase, and she becomes invulnerable to enemy attacks. Zero can use four different types of weapons: swords, bracers, chakrams, and spears, and each individual weapon can be leveled up the more it is used in combat.

    Battle Stadium D.O.N

Son Goku, Naruto, Sasuke, Luffy, Zoro, Trunks, Rock Lee... a cast worthy of the secret fantasies of any otaku! Some people apprehend then a pure fighting game, but Battle Stadium D.O.N is largely inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee. The two games share many similarities, especially in terms of handling. Thus, the strokes do not require any manipulation based on quarter turns, everything comes out simply with combinations of direction and buttons. But Battle Stadium D.O.N. fortunately does not just copy the neighbor. The principle is even catchy and original enough to guarantee good reversals. Here, all fighters share the same life gauge. The goal of the game is to nibble on the opponents' gauge, by all means, until the final knockout. So there are not really "lives" as such. Moreover, the winner at the end of regulation time is not the one who has ejected the most people, but the one who has the longest energy bar!

    Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX tells the story of Zidane, the member of a team of theater actors who also happen to be a gang of thieves, and Garnet, the princess of Alexandria. Zidane and his buddies first plan to kidnap Garnet from her mother's palace. But shortly after the kidnapping, they realize the queen of Alexandria is up to something evil. Zidane, the princess, and other characters they encounter on their journey decide to join forces and to find out what can possibly drive the queen to commit her cruel deeds.

The game's visual style is similar to the previous entry in the Final Fantasy series, with 3D character models, world map, and battle stages, pre-rendered backgrounds in individual locations, and CG cutscenes that advance the story. However, from the point of view of overall atmosphere and gameplay, the game tends to resemble older installments more. Like in Final Fantasy IV, each character belongs to a specific class (e.g. thief, black mage, summoner, etc.) which cannot be changed, having his or her own unique abilities. Combat utilizes the series' trademark ATB (active-time battle) system. Battles allow participation of four player-controlled characters. The player is able to choose these from a larger amount of available characters during later parts of the game.

Character abilities (magic spells, immunity to certain status changes, etc.) are contained within weapons and armor. Each of these allows the player to learn one or more abilities by equipping the item on a character and continuously participating in battles. Ability points are awarded after battles along with experience points, gradually filling the ability bar of the equipped part. Once the bar is full, the ability can be used by the character even after the equipment that allowed him or her to learn it has been removed.

The card mini-game from the previous installment is now called Tetra Master, and is featured more prominently. Cards are now placed on a 4x4 grid, and can attack other cards on diagonals as well as cardinal directions. Cards no longer have set stats, and instead have a range of values and arrow positions, making every card unique. Regional rule variations are gone, but at the start of every match one to five positions on the grid will be blacked out, changing the player's offensive and defensive strategies with every game.

  10. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is based on the movie of the same name. The player assumes the role of Harry Potter, who must battle against Lord Voldemort and his followers. The game allows non-linear exploration of the school where Harry can use unlocked portraits to teleport or call a ghost to find the fastest way to missions. The primary objective involves discovering roughly 150 hidden crests to unlock achievements, requiring the use of spells as Harry has lost his ability to jump and climb.

The main focus lies in three mini-games: magical duels used to learn and improve spells, Quidditch as a test of reaction where the player slightly controls Harry's broom, and potion brewing where the player replicates recipes within a time limit while managing errors.

  13. Many months have passed since the events of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Link, Tetra and Tetra's band of pirates have set sail in search of new lands. Tetra falls into danger when she explores an abandoned ship alone, and Link falls into the ocean when he attempts to rescue her. When he washes up unconscious on the shores of a mysterious island, he is awakened by a fairy who agrees to help him as he sets off to find Tetra - and his way back to the seas he once knew.

  14. The famous Mario Brothers return in this sequel to the humorous Superstar Saga. In this adventure, Princess Peach takes a trip in a time machine, but when it returns, there's only a monster inside! The heroic brothers travel back in time only to discover that evil alien life forms known as the Shroobs have taken over the Mushroom Kingdom, and no-one is safe! They soon meet up with their younger selves, and set out to stop the alien menace, not to mention rescue the Princess!

Although the game has turn-based battles, it follows the tradition of the previous Mario RPG games, in that button commands can be pressed during battle to increase your attack, defend, and counterattack, to give the impression of a more interactive battle.

Battling can also become quite hectic, as players now have to control the each of the four brothers with the four different face buttons. This can make for some very tricky situations when using special power-ups that randomize the brothers' turns.

    Shenmue

On a November day when the snow turned to rain, Ryu Hazuki arrives home just in time to see his father killed by Lan Di, a man Ryu's father obviously knew very well. Ryu attempts to stop Lan Di, but is effortlessly beaten to within an inch of his life. After recovering from his injuries Ryu sets out to track down his father's murderer, as well as uncover his family's secrets and the mystery of the Phoenix and Dragon mirrors that Lan Di seeks.

Shenmue is a hybrid game that incorporates elements of adventure and fighting with light role-playing. The game is set in a 3D environment that can be freely explored by the player. Much of the gameplay involves talking to Ryu's friends and the various people around town, hoping to find hints or clues that lead to the next step in the story. Any details Ryu learns are written down in his notebook for future review. Ryu can buy items from stores or try his luck with capsule toy machines, but most items that can be bought have no purpose outside of filling his inventory. Ryu can also visit an arcade and play accurate versions of Hang-On and Space Harrier, as well as games like darts and pool.

Ryu is a trained martial artist, and while a true martial artist knows it is better to avoid a fight, sometimes it is still necessary. Ryu can train his moves, either by repeatedly doing them while training, or by sparring with his friend Fuku-san, which constitutes the role-playing element of the game. Fighting system is similar to that of Virtua Fighter, although with toned-down air juggling. Ryu's training also gives him heightened reflexes, and sometimes during a cutscene the player will have only a moment to press a button (displayed onscreen) to get Ryu out of danger. Failing an input prompt is not always fatal, but whether Ryu survives or not depends on the danger he was in.

Included with the game is the Shenmue Passport disc. On this disc players can receive tutorials about various aspects of the game like mini-games or the battle system, watch cutscenes they've already seen in the game, and listen to music from the game. This disc also includes the option to go online to a special site where players can review world-wide mini-game rankings, get hints for the game from Nozomi, review game maps of Yokosuka, trade uncommon items found in the game for even rarer items only available on the passport, and visit the official homepage. This service went offline along with the rest of SegaNet, and all online features are currently impossible to access.

  16. In a complex world filled with excess and greed, players can take the role of Tony Montana, one of the most ruthless gangsters ever depicted on film. Highly acclaimed screenwriter, David McKenna, has written an original event-driven storyline for the interactive game that leads the player through a sordid underworld. The Scarface video game creates a gameplay environment that authentically recreates the historical time period of the film, touching on politics, news items and events of the day. Players travel through the steamy, often violent streets of Miami, the irie islands of the Florida Keys, the Bahamas and various other locales and interact with a world full of seedy and dangerous characters to procure information, negotiate business deals, smuggle contraband and avoid rivals and DEA on a mission to rebuild their fallen empire.

  17. Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover between the two Japanese fighting game series, Tekken and Street Fighter. It's a 2D Street Fighter game incorporating licensed characters from Tekken. It features the visual style of Street Fighter IV and includes core moves like Super Combos and EX Attacks. The game focuses on tag team gameplay, allowing players to switch between characters and execute complex combos. Victory is determined by the first player to lose a character's health to zero, not the whole team. Special attacks are activated by filling a three-tier Cross Gauge. Street Fighter characters use a six-button system, while Tekken characters use a four-button system. The game introduces two new systems: the gem system for boosting character stats and the pandora mode for sacrificing a character to empower another temporarily. Both local and online multiplayer are supported.

    Nights into Dreams

NiGHTS into Dreams is a video game developed by Sonic Team, and was originally released for the Sega Saturn in mid-1996. It was the first game to be produced by Sonic Team not feature Sonic the Hedgehog, and debuted with the 3D Control Pad, Sega's answer to the Nintendo 64's innovative controller.

NiGHTS is seen by many to be one of the strongest original titles for the system, with cutting edge visuals and surprisingly complex gameplay. In the western world, NiGHTS was used as a marketing ploy to allow the Saturn to compete against Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64, and other 3D titles for the Sony PlayStation in the 1996 winter holiday season. Today it is seen as a cult classic and one of the flagship products of Sega during the Saturn era.

Mass Effect 3 concludes the trilogy, offering gameplay that blends third-person tactical combat, role-playing with different classes, and dialogue choices. Due to their past affiliation with the Cerberus organization, Commander Shepard is removed from active duty by the Alliance military upon returning to Earth. The Reapers, a race of extraterrestrial machines, then launch a massive attack on the planet. The Defense Committee seeks Shepard's aid, reinstated as a member of the Alliance and commander of the Normandy by Captain Anderson. While Anderson remains on Earth to defend the planet against the Reapers, Shepard is sent to the Citadel to garner support from the Galactic Council and unite the various races in the fight against the common enemy.

    Speed Freaks

Speed Punks is a fast go-cart game in a cartoony setting featuring six different characters and twelve different tracks. The game can be played in four different single-player modes or in multi-player mode with up to four people.

The tracks are bright and colorful and feature sunny sea shores, futuristic cities, bright green meadows and lots of waterfalls. Throughout the tracks there are weapon power-ups, boost tokens and speed-up strips. The boost tokens fill up an energy bar which can be used for extra speed. The weapon power-ups can be used to defeat the rivals on the track, including homing missiles, remote bombs and stealth mode.

Some tracks have shortcuts which allow players to cut ahead, but they are hard with tight corners or narrow passages. On some tracks in tournament mode, an alternate faster route in the track will open up only on the last lap.

Playable characters include the jack-of-all-stats Monty, Tabatha, Buster and Wedgie, purple haired Monica, Brains, and the spikey haired Tempest. Three additional characters can be unlocked by first winning all races in tournament mode and then winning the character challenge. For each mode, Easy, Medium and Hard, there is one unlockable character: Cosworth the dog, Tetsuo a futuristic looking guy, and Beemer the robot.

    Suikoden Tactics

Suikoden Tactics is a spin-off in the Suikoden series and a direct sequel to Suikoden IV, its story taking place three years after those described in the previous game. The story narrates what happened after the Kooluk and Island Nations war and the mystery concerning the origins of the Rune Cannons. Kyril, the main character, is a powerful young warrior who is continuing his father's fanatical obsession with learning all he can about the Rune Cannons.

Unlike the previous Suikoden games, Suikoden Tactics is a tactical role-playing game. The game consists of large-scale tactical battles and offers no exploration, but retains RPG elements such as character and equipment growth. The gameplay is similar to Fire Emblem. The game offers a combo attack plan by allowing players to build stronger relationships with each fight. If two characters converse during battle, they will improve fighting compatibility with each other. Different upgradeable skills and spells make up the bulk of the gameplay. Story cutscenes are rendered in real-time and have voiceovers.

  26. In Wario Land: Shake It!, Wario is given a globe, but this is no ordinary globe; it contains a hidden world called the Shake Dimension. This world is populated by the Merfles, who are ruled by Queen Merelda. When the Shake King takes over the Shake Dimension and kidnaps the queen and all but one of the Merfles, Wario is asked by the remaining Merfle to rescue the queen and the captured Merfles and to defeat the evil king. Of course, Wario could care less about the queen and her subjects, but when he hears that the Shake King possesses the Bottomless Coin Sack, which contains an infinite amount of coins, Wario agrees to take on the king to get the loot and save the queen along the way.

The game plays very similarly to previous Wario Land games; Wario progresses through each level while collecting coins and defeating enemies. But the game is different in other ways. For instance, players shake the Wii Remote without holding an enemy to punch the ground. While holding an enemy, the Wii Remote is shaken to shake enemies to get garlic to refill hearts and coin sacks to receive money. Wario can also throw things, including enemies, by tilting the Wii Remote in the direction the player wants to aim them. Special treasures can be collected in each level. Players must find imprisoned Merfles in each level; when a Merfle is found and released, a countdown starts to return to the beginning of the level. There is a boss at the end of each area. Any level can be revisited to complete missions; these missions consist of anything ranging from gathering so many coins to escaping a level after saving a Merfle under a certain time.

Ryu can train his moves, either by repeatedly doing them while training or by sparring with his friend Fuku-san, which constitutes the role-playing element of the game. The fighting system is similar to that of the Virtua Fighter series, although with toned-down air juggling.

On this disc, players can receive tutorials about various aspects of the game like mini-games or the battle system, watch cutscenes they've already seen in the game, and listen to music from the game. This disc also includes the option to go online to a special site where players can review worldwide mini-game rankings, get hints for the game from Nozomi, review game maps of Yokosuka, trade uncommon items found in the game for even rarer items only available on the passport, and visit the official homepage. This service went offline along with the rest of SegaNet, and all online features are currently impossible to access.

  33. A writer named Adrienne Delaney has just moved into an old mansion with her photographer husband Donald. Shortly after moving in, Adrienne begins to experience horrifying nightmares and have odd encounters inside the creepy old abode. Furthermore, the house is having a severe effect on her husband, changing him for the worse. Adrienne must discover the secret of the house before the unknown force consumes her husband, and unravel the terrible events that have happened in the past.

Phantasmagoria is an adventure game that places heavy emphasis on full motion video for exposition and cutscenes at various junctures to advance the storyline. Adrienne is represented as a digitized character roaming around pre-rendered settings in the house. She inspects various rooms, finds items, adds them to her inventory, finds places to use the items, and triggers advancements in the plot.

Puzzle-solving element is present, though reduced compared to most other adventure games made by Sierra. There are seven chapters in the game, as well as a status screen that tracks the player's progress within the chapter. If the player happens to get stuck in the game, a talking skull icon who identifies himself as the hintkeeper can supply the player with hints on request. It is possible to start playing the game from any chapter.

  35. The game takes place in the mysterious Kingdom of Elyria. The player assumes the role of a novice warrior called Aeron, who tries to save a young maiden Elena. In the middle of the Harvest Festival, she becomes enslaved by a curse which slowly turns her into a monster. The only way to reverse the situation is to feed the girl thirteen pieces of an artefact called Master Flesh, which can be found in the wastelands of Okanos. Pandora's Tower is filled with an atmosphere of loneliness and danger. The plot mainly focuses on building the relationship between Aeron and Elena. A few characters are also introduced in the long run, for instance Mavda, a merchant from the Vestra tribe, which help the protagonist during his journey.

The gameplay mechanics are reminiscent of those used in Metroid and Zelda series, but with a much more linear structure. Aeron wanders sequentially into thirteen towers filled to the brim with logic puzzles, challenges and ruthless adversaries. As far as his weapons are concerned, he uses Oraclos Chain and a few optional melee weapons, like Athosian Sword, both used in solving mysteries. The main goal in every tower is to find the chamber with the boss, defeat it and collect Master Flesh, the aliment needed to cure Elena from her doomed fate. During the expedition, the player needs to keep and eye on the time limit. If he exceeds it, Elena will turn into a frightening beast and perish as a human being from the world. Pandora's Tower also makes good use of the console's unique attributes. All actions related to using Oraclos Chain are fully motion controlled.

    Tekken 5

The mysterious G Corporation launches a full-scale attack involving military helicopters and combat cyborgs on the building Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima were in during the final scene of the previous game. Kazuya betrays his father and escapes, while Heihachi is presumably killed. However, the Mishima Zaibatsu continues operating as usual under undisclosed leadership. When the fifth King of the Iron Fist tournament is announced, both Kazuya and his son Jin enter in in an attempt to solve the mystery.

Tekken 5 is a versus fighting game that reduces the unusual stage design elements introduced in its immediate predecessor, thus resembling earlier installments. Five new characters join the growing regular cast, and the special modes from the previous games return, with the addition of a platforming ("Devil Within") and fighting minigames starring Jin Kazama in a sub-story of his own. Also new to the series is the ability to customize the characters with colored outfits, additional costumes, and items that can be bought with money gained in the fights and equipped.

  44. As a citizen of the kingdom of Bartonia, it's your job to discover why the Undead have begun swarming all over the world of Etheria. In this RPG hybrid you'll be following the story of your character as they rid Etheria of the Undead scourge and save Bartonia, complete sidequests for extra money, experience, items and companions, craft your own weapons and armor, capture monsters for use as mounts or to learn their spells, and even lay siege to neighboring kingdoms in order to add them to your own empire. However, Puzzle Quest is an RPG with a twist. Everything is done (as the name implies) with puzzles.

Everything in Puzzle Quest is done with puzzles. The puzzles themselves are similar to Bejeweled in execution, with a few slight variations used for things like item crafting and enemy capture.

When fighting an enemy (which can range from zombies to orcs and even castle strongholds, each with their own special spells and abilities), you both take turns using the same board. The goal is to reduce your opponents hitpoints to zero, which can be done directly by linking up skulls in rows of three or more, or by using spells which require mana. To build up mana, just link three or more runes of the same color together, just like the skulls. Every time you gain mana, it's stored in your reserves until you use it (or are hit with a mana draining attack). Gold and experience are built up in the same way, using gold coins or purple experience orbs that occupy the same board and can be linked just like runes and skulls.

The real strategy behind the game comes into play when you factor in elemental mastery (gaining extra mana when linking runes for a specific element), equipment (which can prevent damage, drain mana and more), spells (which can poison, drain mana, stun and so on) and linking up groups of four or more. The reason groups of four are important is that every time a row of four-of-a-kind is created, you get an extra turn. While it doesn't sound important, getting four runes in a row could possibly give you enough mana to cast an extremely powerful spell and give you the extra turn to cast it before your enemy can even move.

There is also a direct action mode in which players can hone their skills against various opponents independent from the story mode, as well as wireless multi-card play where two players can square off using their own characters from the campaign mode.

    Pac-Mania

Pac-Mania is a variation on the game Pac-Man. You need to guide Pac-Man around a maze and eat all of the dots on the board in order to proceed on to the next round. Numerous, multi-colored ghosts also roam the maze trying to stop you. If you eat one of the power pellets in the maze, the ghosts will temporarily turn blue and run from you. Pac-Man can earn bonus points by eating the ghosts when they are in this state. The maze is now shown in isometric perspective and is larger than screen which will scroll to follow the action. To help get out of tight spots, Pac-Man now has the ability to jump. But be careful, because some of the ghosts have learned this trick as well and you could end up in a mid air collision!

    Waku Waku 7

The seven magical Waku Waku balls have surfaced once again and the few that know of their existence decide to battle against each other in order to collect them all. If they are able to defeat the powerful monster enslaved in them, the Waku Waku balls will grant the lucky victor whatever wish they desire.

The game was created as a parody of animé series in general, WW7 pools together all the mainstays of the genre and has them fight against each other. From furry catgirls and effeminate, super-cool elfs to cute pokémon-like creatures and dumb and loud heroes.

Gameplay-wise the game is a 2D fighting game in which two characters try to defeat each other in one-on-one combat using their attacks and special moves. The player selects his/her character and then tries to defeat all opponents in succession. As in most games of the genre each character possesses individual strengths and movesets, plus a power-bar that gets charged by unleashing special moves that allows one to trigger super moves and even unblockable attacks at the expense of power slots.

Features arcade and Vs gameplay modes as well as an artwork gallery for the Saturn version which showcases the bright colorful art design of WW7.
