Need for Speed: Underground 2 is a street-racing game with single-player and multiplayer modes set in the nighttime tuner scene. After proving yourself in early races, you enter Metro City, an open world where you can freely roam, discover events, and challenge rivals.

Your goal is to climb the Underground Racing League by winning races, earning reputation, and upgrading your car. Events include Sprint, Circuit, Drag and Drift, each rewarding cash used for performance parts and visual customization. You gradually boost your car’s stats—acceleration, top speed and handling—to take on tougher opponents.

A standout feature is the deep tuning system, offering hundreds of performance and cosmetic upgrades, from engine parts to body kits, paint and neon. Cars can be transformed from basic models into top-tier machines. Multiplayer supports online or split-screen racing (up to eight players), with extras like replays.

Metro’s sandbox also includes Outrun free-roam challenges, optional time trials, drift events and hidden collectibles.

A follow up to the Dreamcast title Jet Grind Radio. The setting is Tokyo in the year 2024. Freedom is a valuable commodity and freedom of expression even more so. Gangs of misbehaving teens strap on rocket-powered roller blades and skate, grind, and mark their territory with graffiti tags.

Players take the role of the GGs, and can choose between any member of the gang, each with different stats, while in gang HQ. The city of Tokyo can be leisurely explored without a time limit, but the heat will be turned up when story missions are activated and the GGs find themselves being challenged by rival gangs or under attack from the cops. This time around spraying no longer requires thumbstick inputs; just roll up and start spraying away, although large tags still require more cans than smaller tags. Each section of the city has hidden objectives that are revealed by finding a hidden tape, and once completed these challenges will unlock new graffiti patterns.

In multiplayer modes players can challenge each other to races, point battles, and other competitions both in zones from the single player game as well as in special arenas.

Dead or Alive 3 is a 3D fighting game playable in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Set after Dead or Alive 2, the story follows the third Dead or Alive World Combat Championship, as the DOATEC corporation continues its dangerous experiments. New fighters appear, while returning characters face their past through a cinematic story mode.

Link is a young boy who lives with his grandmother on the Outset Island, one of the many small islands lost amidst the waters of the Great Sea. On his tenth birthday, Link encounters a giant bird carrying a girl. Link rescues the girl, but as a result his own sister is taken away by the bird. The unknown girl is a pirate captain named Tetra, who agrees to help Link find and rescue his sister. During the course of their journey the two realize that a powerful, legendary evil is active again, and must find a way to stop him.

The Wind Waker is the tenth installment in the Zelda series. Like its predecessors, it is an action game with puzzle-solving and light role-playing elements. Basic gameplay mechanics are similar to those found in Ocarina of Time: Link explored 3D outdoor areas and dungeons, fighting enemies and occasionally solving environmental puzzles. An addition to the combat system is the ability to parry at specific times, which is needed to overcome armored foes. Another new feature is picking up and using some of the weapons wielded by the enemies. Similarly to previous games, Link can use tools such as bow and arrow, boomerang, and bombs.

Link needs to sail through the Great Sea in order to travel to other islands. He uses a baton called the Wind Waker to change wind direction by conducting it and producing melodies. The Wind Waker is also used for teleportation and puzzle-solving purposes. Link can use wind currents to glide and access remote areas.

Visually, the game utilizes cel-shaded graphics to create a cartoon-like appearance. The characters' bodily proportions and facial features are not realistic, complementing the style. Link's big eyes, in particular, also have a gameplay-related function, giving clues to the player by looking at specific items needed to solve puzzles.

Pokemon Bloody Platinum is a rom hack of Pokemon Platinum with a couple of interesting features that you can use. Characters have some modifications, but the story is the same with a couple of changes in some aspects.

While the story is the same, there are some interesting changes to the mechanics of the game. First of all, certain character sprites have been changed. Some characters look the same but have minor tweaks, like a change in color, while others look entirely different. Speaking of sprites, male and female Pokemon have different colors or sprites. Speaking of gender, there’s a good percentage of which one you can catch. There’s also a nice divide to which Pokemon you can catch during the day and night. Depending on the starter Pokemon you chose will also determine your rival’s team and build, which is an interesting mechanic. Finally, a ROUTE LEADER is an enemy Trainer with the best and strongest Pokemon you can encounter when you go to a Route.

Area 51, the urban legend, is a U.S. military-controlled base in the Nevada desert, apparently containing a secret aircraft testing facility. It is also famed as the subject of many UFO conspiracy theories. Area-51, the game, is a first-person shooter (FPS) set in this particular base, now infested with rampant aliens and a mutagenic virus that changes your character. As Ethan Cole, Special Forces, specialist in the HAZMAT (hazardous materials) Division, you have to discover what's going on inside the base and blast the menace to save the world. Your character races against time: the same virus that is mutating the facility personnel into monsters is also in his organism, slowly transforming him into an inhuman creature under the control of the alien masterminds.

The hero has access to more than ten types of human and alien weapons to fight the creatures. They are designed by Stan Winston Studios, monster creator for such films as Aliens, Jurassic Park and Predator. The weapons can be used in melee combat as well, and it's possible to switch to an alternate firing mode, in some cases with the downside that it consumes more ammo. Ethan can also use a scanner to investigate items of interest, documents, alien artifacts and residue. The information contributes to the backstory and is stored in the scanner's databank.

At a specific point in the game, you will gain the ability to mutate into a creature for a limited time. All monsters and humans are then highlighted by your thermal vision, and you can use claws in melee and shoot heat-seeking parasites. Staying in the mutant form consumes mutagen, which can then be replenished by draining infected corpses, killing enemies in melee or consuming special syringes with mutagen, as opposed to using normal medical syringes to restore health.

Area-51 has a two-player split-screen and an online multiplayer (for up to 16 players) component with several modes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Capture and Hold, and Infection. In Infection, all but one player start as normal healthy soldiers hunting one mutant player. The latter is able to create more mutants by killing opposing players, and thus infecting them.

Pokémon SoulSilver Version is an enhanced remake of one of the second installments in the Pokémon Main RPG Series, Pokémon Silver Version.

Set in the region of Johto, the player controls a new Pokémon Trainer on his/her way to meet up with Pokémon Researcher Professor Elm at his lab to receive his/her first Pokémon. While running an errand for Elm, the player returns to find that a thief has stolen one of the professor's Pokémon. This event starts your quest to becoming a Pokémon master, leading you through the region of Johto and later Kanto, to battle the mysterious Team Rocket and capture all 493 Pokémon.

Along with retaining most of the original game's features, SoulSilver contains quite a few new updates. Like Silver the story will incorporate the legendary Pokémon Lugia (who can be seen on the game's box art), although this time in a bigger fashion. Graphics have been upgraded to 3D models to resemble the series previous Nintendo DS iterations, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The ability to have any one of your Pokémon following you on the Overworld Screen which was limitedly seen in Pokémon Yellow has been added.

Included with the game is a peripheral known as the Pokéwalker. Acting as a pedometer, the Pokéwalker allows you to wirelessly transfer a Pokémon from SoulSilver to it. When there is a Pokémon in the Pokéwalker it gains "experience points" for each step you take. The player also earns a form of money known as "watts", which is used to help catch other Pokémon and buy items.

The game is compatible with the following games via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection: Pokémon HeartGold, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

Twilight Princess is the first Legend of Zelda game for the Wii and also the last for GameCube. At first Link is a simple farm boy, whose tasks consist of herding goats to watching children in Ordon village, Link's home town. One day, Link is asked by the mayor to run an errand in Castle Town, but things sudden go wrong…

The land becomes dark, and strange creatures appear from another world called the Twilight Realm, which turns most into ghosts. Link, however, becomes a wolf. After becoming a wolf, Link is aided by Midna, a resident of the Twilight Realm. Midna helps Link find a way to turn human again along with other tasks.

The wolf cannot use a sword or other items. Instead, as a wolf Link must use his senses to solve puzzles and get past obstacles. The beast can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees and to get in places. It can push blocks with its head to climb higher or reveal hidden passageways. Additionally, it can attack enemies by biting or pouncing on them.

As a human, Link can move around quickly, aim his bow, swing his sword, and even fish. Link also collects many different items, which allow him to perform varied attacks and reach places he couldn't before. Link performs many attacks with his sword and can even learn other sword moves.

The game's art is similar to the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time, rather than the cel-shaded look of The Wind Waker. Chronologically, the game takes place between the two aforementioned titles and quite a few locations from Ocarina of Time can be visited. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. With the help of Midna, you can easily travel around quickly later in the game.

skate 3 takes place in the town of Port Carverton. After a failed trick (jumping over the shark statue at the stadium), "The Legend" (which is the player) starts his goal to become a skating mogul. The player works to create a team of skaters that compete against other teams, with a goal to sell a million skateboards.

Pokémon Ecchi Version is a fangame developed by Hinorashi Games using RPG Maker XP, aimed at a mature audience. The game blends classic Pokémon gameplay with adult themes, featuring expansive exploration across unique cities and routes, special Alpha Pokémon, a wardrobe customization system, and advanced player stats. With enhanced graphics, custom overworld animations, and evolving content through regular updates, it offers an alternative and immersive experience for fans.

Burnout 3: Takedown is a racing game which encourages aggressive driving and lets you use your vehicle to smash your way to the finish line by taking out your rivals and causing massive multi-car pileups. The more cars you take out, damage you inflict, the more events and cars you can unlock. Burnout 3 also has a "crash" mode which puts your vehicle at a variety of traffic junctions jam-packed with moving vehicles and pickups to see just how much monetary damage you can inflict.

Rule of Rose is an adventure game with survival horror elements. Jennifer is exceptionally weak even for a typical protagonist of this genre; though she can fight (sometimes with improvised melee weapons, such as pipes), often the alternative to fighting is running away. A unique gameplay feature is Brown, a Labrador retriever dog who accompanies Jennifer throughout the game. The player is able to issue commands to Brown. Though he cannot fight, his growl will deter many of the enemies Jennifer may encounter. Brown's ability to track items is also widely used in the game, whether for plot-related purposes or for finding health restoratives, raising Jennifer's chances of surviving.

Rogue Galaxy is the North American and European localized version of Rogue Galaxy (2005), only released in Japan at the time. Instead of only localizing the game, developer Level-5 Inc. spent 2 years to improve the game and add new features and content. This version was also re-released in Japan as Rogue Galaxy (Director's Cut).

The original single-layer DVD was replaced by dual-layer and the doubled amount of space was used for smoother, better-looking graphics and additional data. Aside from the 4 existing planets, a fifth one, Alistia, was added. It is not part of the main story, but deepens the storyline and has new quests and items. A key to access the new world can be found in chapter 8. The existing Insectron Tournament sidequest has been expanded with two species of Insectrons, each with 8 types of Insectrons per species. The level design of Rosencaster Prison, the Gladius Towers, the Daytron factory, Rosa's desert town, and Rosa's Labyrinth has also been altered.

Over 2,000 lines of additional voice dialogue were added, the battle animations were reworked, damaging enemies has become easier (attack formula revision) and Toady's analysis of weapons has also been simplified.

Other gameplay improvements include the introduction of collectible Burning Chips, which power the Burning Strike attack, more items overall, two new weapons for each character (except Jaster), with 140 weapons in total, and 5 bonus costumes for each character (6 for Kisala and Simon).

Jaster Rogue, a young man from the planet Rosa, has always dreamed of exploring the stars. His home planet is a great source of highly sought natural resources and so has recently been occupied by the Longardia Commonwealth as protection from the Draxian Empire. The people of Rosa are highly oppressed and not allowed to leave the planet, but fortunately for Jaster, he's mistaken for the legendary hunter, Desert Claw, by a band of space pirates. Their captain, Dorgengoa, recruits him and other various people for the task of finding a mythical planet, called Eden, which is said to hold the secrets of an advanced civilization and vast treasures; enough to rule the galaxy. But the Daytron Corporation and its president Valkog Drazer is also looking for this mythical planet and will stop at nothing to find it.

Rogue Galaxy is an RPG with a science fiction background. The game boasts a continuous environment with real-time battles and no loading screens. It also consists of a weapon upgrade system that allows the player to synthesize new weapons by combining old ones.

The combat system allows 'Tech' attacks which are team attacks where two or more team members can combine their abilities into a single large scale attack. A special attack, called 'Burning Strike', allows the character to attack with multiple strikes by pressing certain buttons at the correct time. Every correct button press yields another strike added on to the attack. Also, items and enemies can be picked up and thrown at other enemies to damage them. Enemies can also be invulnerable until some special condition has been met, i.e. certain weapons must be used, or an enemy can only be attacked at certain weak areas.

Early on in the game, the player gains access to the Factory. This is an area where machine components are laid out on the floor, and hooked up to power supplies. This is essentially a time-flow puzzle, where the player must take into account which materials to use, how to process them, and combine them at the right times to produce a sample of an item. If successful, the item can be bought at shops after a while. New blueprints for different items and machine components can be found by talking to various NPCs.

Weapons in the game gain experience as the player uses them until they're 'Maxed', at which time they can be combined with other maxed weapons to synthesize new and better weapons. After the weapon has maxed out its experience, it continues to gain experience in other elemental categories to a certain degree. A 'Mastered' weapon has its experience and elemental categories maxed out.

Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. By channelling his inner rage, Asura is now able to unleash devastating attacks and wreak havoc as he battles against the deities who have wronged him and their earthly forces. Having defeated Ares and now a god himself, Kratos proves to be a more vicious and power-hungry god than Ares ever was. Eventually he finds himself betrayed, with his godly powers and abilities removed from him. Kratos sets upon another epic quest to find the Sisters of Fate and do what no mortal or god has ever done: change his destiny and reclaim his power.

Like its predecessor, God of War II is an action game with platforming and puzzle-solving elements. Still utilizing the Blades of Chaos, Kratos must rip apart his enemies and and other gods, heroes, and monsters from the Greek myths that stands in his way to revenge and power. As before, the higher the combo achieved from killing an enemy, the more red orbs will be awarded to Kratos for upgrades. Kratos has a selection of spells which utilize the blue orbs. Some are familiar from the previous game, while others are new to the sequel and its storyline.

In addition to the action and light puzzle-solving, Kratos takes to the sky in the sequel with some rail-based flying levels on the back of either a Pegasus or gryphon. James Sunderland got confused when he received a letter from his wife asking him to come to Silent Hill, their special place. The only problem is that his wife died three years ago, and has kept the secrets surrounding her death. James decides to honor the letter's request, wondering if this is a sick joke or if there is more to this. As James reaches the outskirts of the town, he finds that the road is blocked, and parks at an abandoned restroom. Little does he realize that this is the first step forward into the mystery of Silent Hill and his own past.

Silent Hill 2 is a survival horror game. The gameplay is similar to that of the first installment. The player navigates James around the town of Silent Hill and collects weapons, health-restoring items, and objects needed to solve puzzles in an unlimited inventory. A radio alerts James when enemies are near. Like the protagonist of the first game, James is not very skillful in combat; he can fight with basic melee weapons or firearms with scarce ammunition. Most of the puzzles are logic-based and are often shaped like riddles, though there are a few simple inventory-based tasks as well.

While the basic concept is the same as in the previous entry, the game is set in a part of town that was unexplored in it, and the weapons and enemies are mostly new as well. Also new is the ability to change the standard "survival horror" (character-dependent) controls into the more widespread, 3D (camera-dependent) navigation. The difficulty level can be adjusted separately for combat and puzzles.

Mark Hammond is an ex-gangster who wants to forget his past and live honestly with his wife and little son. Everything goes horribly wrong when London's most vicious criminal, the organized crime boss Charlie Jolson, decides that he needs Mark's services and obtains them in a twisted and cruel way: Mark's wife is murdered, he is framed for this murder, and his child gets kidnapped.

Jolson makes it clear: unless Mark does what he orders him to do, the boy dies. Using the helpless man in his plan to bring down other criminal organizations of the city, Jolson sends Mark on suicidal missions during which Mark has three terrible choices: walk away and lose his son, get killed in a battle against overwhelming odds, or single-handedly help Jolson to get rid of his adversaries.

Once the player completes Mark Hammond's story, a new scenario opens, in which the player controls Frank Carter, a vigilante cop who won't stop until he brings Charlie Jolson to justice. The Getaway is a hybrid of driving and third-person shooter gameplay, similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. London has been digitally recreated for this game, and the player can explore it freely on foot or driving a vehicle. Unlike GTA III, missions follow each other linearly, dictated by the plot. The game is more story-driven and does not have any free-roaming activities. Many of the driving sequences also have a time limit, restricting free exploration.

Each mission usually consists of a driving section, which requires the player to drive to a certain destination (sometimes chasing another vehicle or being chased by enemies), and a third-person shooter section, often with an additional driving section afterwards. Police or rival gangs will frequently pursue the protagonist. The player can hijack any car or bus from the streets, or move on foot.

Third-person shooter sequences are longer and more prominently featured than the corresponding sections of GTA III. The protagonist can perform a variety of moves: sneak, crouch, roll to the sides, etc. A few missions are completely stealth-oriented, and are failed if the player character is discovered by enemies. It is possible to use the butt of the gun as a melee weapon, and also take hostages to prevent the police from shooting at the player character.

The game's distinguishing visual feature is a total absence of visible interface and text feedback. Rather than consulting a map, the player follows the car's blinking lights to arrive at the right destination. Damage taken by the protagonist is indicated by the character bending over, walking slower, and having blood on his clothes. Health is recovered by resting (leaning against a wall); there are no health kits scattered around. The protagonist can carry only two small or one larger weapon at once.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an action game released as a tie-in with the movie of the same name. It takes place outside the events of the film with a separate storyline where Spider-Man discovers a larger threat to NYC that has turned the underworld upside down, weaving together villains from the film and classic Marvel characters. The game opens with Spider-Man tracking down his uncle Ben's killer in order to bring him to justice. However, he soon finds that there is much more going on in the city of Manhattan and finds himself in a tangled web between Oscorp, Wilson Fisk and a mysterious new serial killer.

Players control Spider-Man in an open-world version of Manhattan similar to the previous games in the franchise. He can swing freely throughout the city using a web-swinging mechanic. The swinging has become more strict in the sense that it is no longer possible to always swing about anywhere if there is nothing present to attach it to, even though there are exceptions. The web is controlled with Spider-Man's left and right hand with two separate buttons. Pressing them together gives a boost. There are different types of web available, for instance used to freeze something or to make it explode. Different enemies need to be taken out with combat techniques and various upgrades can be earned throughout the game.

Similar to the inFAMOUS series there is a morale system where the player can choose to have Spider-Man intervene to stop crime or to ignore it. The existing crimes have been expanded with new types such as arson and hostage situations. Other types of activities include photo investigations, task force, aiding the police in a deadlock, rescue situations and infiltrating hideouts. Through the open-world design there are often multiple approaches, including stealth. There are also sections where Peter Park is controlled, doing detective work on foot. Peter's home acts as the main hub to replay missions, equip costumes and purchase upgrades. The in-game map is accessed through a mobile phone. It is also used to receive messages and access upgrades.

As you explore, you must solve mysteries, collect cash/gems/jewels/coins, and encounter boss characters. Luigi's vacuum has the ability to suck up ghosts that have inhabited this strange mansion. However, the ghosts will not give up so easily. You must struggle with them and pull them back to catch your prey with your trusty vacuum. As you continue to your goal, you must face off with the deceased denizens of the house and the boos that haunt it, and unlock new rooms with the keys you find along the way. You can also gain special abilities for your vacuum, such as the ability to shoot fire, water, or ice. Remember though, treasure is scattered everywhere. Fushigi no Umi no Nadia is one of the several games based on the anime series The Secret of Blue Water. The player controls Jean, a young genius scientist. In Paris he meets Nadia, an African circus performer. Nadia wears a pendant that contains magical powers, and that is why the evil Gargoyle is after her - this pendant is just the item she needs to build the ultimate weapon, the Tower of Babel. Jean will do anything to protect Nadia, and hope that his love to her, his adventurer spirit, and the power of science will eventually defeat Gargoyle.

Unlike most Japanese adventures, Fushigi no Umi no Nadia is a top-down, third-person perspective game, in which the player physically navigates the character around. Nadia and other friends join Jean in a RPG-like fashion (although there is no combat in the game, different characters have their own item-based abilities that should be used at certain points). There are no real puzzles in the game, but the player has to use inventory items on several occasions in order to advance.
