In Oakvale, Albion, a young boy is sent to buy a birthday present for his sister. On his return, the town is attacked by bandits and his family is killed. Saved by a hero named Maze, he is taken to the Heroes Guild, where he grows up and prepares to embark on his own quest: to fight monsters and uncover who was responsible for his family’s death.
Fable is a third-person action role-playing game where the player controls a hero whose moral choices—good or evil—affect the story, appearance, reputation, and even the environment. The game features main and side quests, combat with melee, ranged, and magic, and a progression system based on three areas: Physical, Skill, and Will.4 points -
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
pioupiou77 and 3 others reacted to RomStation for a game
Link is a young boy who lives with his grandmother on the Outset Island, one of the many small islands lost amidst the waters of the Great Sea. On his tenth birthday, Link encounters a giant bird carrying a girl. Link rescues the girl, but as a result his own sister is taken away by the bird. The unknown girl is a pirate captain named Tetra, who agrees to help Link find and rescue his sister. During the course of their journey the two realize that a powerful, legendary evil is active again, and must find a way to stop him.
The Wind Waker is the tenth installment in the Zelda series. Like its predecessors, it is an action game with puzzle-solving and light role-playing elements. Basic gameplay mechanics are similar to those found in Ocarina of Time: Link explored 3D outdoor areas and dungeons, fighting enemies and occasionally solving environmental puzzles. An addition to the combat system is the ability to parry at specific times, which is needed to overcome armored foes. Another new feature is picking up and using some of the weapons wielded by the enemies. Similarly to previous games, Link can use tools such as bow and arrow, boomerang, and bombs.
Link needs to sail through the Great Sea in order to travel to other islands. He uses a baton called the Wind Waker to change wind direction by conducting it and producing melodies. The Wind Waker is also used for teleportation and puzzle-solving purposes. Link can use wind currents to glide and access remote areas.
Visually, the game utilizes cel-shaded graphics to create a cartoon-like appearance. The characters' bodily proportions and facial features are not realistic, complementing the style. Link's big eyes, in particular, also have a gameplay-related function, giving clues to the player by looking at specific items needed to solve puzzles.4 points -

Conker: Live & Reloaded
Master54200 and 2 others reacted to RomStation for a game
Conker: Live & Reloaded is a combination of frantic online multiplayer action and a single-player mode, which is a remake of the original Conker's Bad Fur Day for Nintendo 64 with more detailed and technologically advanced graphics, as well as re-recorded music.
The single-player game plays very similarly to the original version, but a few gameplay-related changes have been made. Conker now uses a baseball bat instead of the frying pan (his default weapon in the original). A few particularly challenging sequences have been made slightly easier; for example, a crosshair has been added for the slingshot weapon. The remake also censors more swear words with "beeps" than the original release.
The multiplayer game supports up to 16 combatants. This team based game is about the war between two factions: Squirrels and Tediz. Each team has multiple classes as Grunt, Sneaker or Skyjockey, and if the team wishes to reign supreme, they must use the teams effectively as every class has it's own special skills. The game is comprised of two different campaigns: The Future War, and The Old War. Both of these include multiple levels which are played in order to tell a story, and ultimately, defining the winner of the campaign. There are also many vehicles, weapons and items to use which help to win the war.3 points -
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Thiago1 and 2 others reacted to RomStation for a game
Black Ops II is the ninth main title in the Call of Duty first-person shooter franchise and the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is set primarily in the near future of 2025 with one third of the game also taking place in the late 1980s. Players follow the interconnected stories of Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and David Mason, while the antagonist, Raul Menendez, carries out a decade-long vendetta at the heart of the single-player campaign. The plot centers around a new conflict between China and the United States over rare earth elements (REE) and their manipulation by Menendez.
Regarding the gameplay, Black Ops II introduces sandbox-style missions called Strike Force, allowing players to command troops and drones from an overhead view, with the ability to switch to first-person shooter controls. The multiplayer features familiar game modes and a ranking system. A new ten-point system for customizing loadouts is introduced, and killstreaks are renamed "scorestreaks" to encourage objective-based play. New scorestreaks like lightning strikes and unmanned dragonfire drones are also added.3 points -

Mario Kart Wii
TemTemAmbre and 2 others reacted to RomStation for a game
Like its previous installments, Mario Kart Wii incorporates playable characters from the Mario series, who participate in races on over 30 different race tracks using specialized items to hinder opponents or gain advantages. The game features multiple single-player and multiplayer game modes including a four-person split screen. Online multiplayer was supported until the discontinuation of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in May 2014.[3] Mario Kart Wii uses the Wii Remote's motion-sensing to provide intuitive and conventional steering controls; each copy of the game is bundled with the Wii Wheel accessory to augment this feature.
The game received positive reviews upon release, with praise for the online mode, characters, gameplay, tracks and karts, although there was criticism for its item balancing. It is one of the best-selling video games of all time with over 37 million copies sold and is the second best-selling game for the Wii behind Wii Sports.3 points -
Mark Hammond is an ex-gangster who wants to forget his past and live honestly with his wife and little son. Everything goes horribly wrong when London's most vicious criminal, the organized crime boss Charlie Jolson, decides that he needs Mark's services and obtains them in a twisted and cruel way: Mark's wife is murdered, he is framed for this murder, and his child gets kidnapped.
Jolson makes it clear: unless Mark does what he orders him to do, the boy dies. Using the helpless man in his plan to bring down other criminal organizations of the city, Jolson sends Mark on suicidal missions during which Mark has three terrible choices: walk away and lose his son, get killed in a battle against overwhelming odds, or single-handedly help Jolson to get rid of his adversaries.
Once the player completes Mark Hammond's story, a new scenario opens, in which the player controls Frank Carter, a vigilante cop who won't stop until he brings Charlie Jolson to justice. Frank's scenario is parallel to Mark's, shedding more light on events that remain somewhat unexplained during Mark's scenario.
The Getaway is a hybrid of driving and third-person shooter gameplay, similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. London has been digitally recreated for this game, and the player can explore it freely on foot or driving a vehicle. Unlike GTA III, missions follow each other linearly, dictated by the plot. The game is more story-driven and does not have any free-roaming activities. Many of the driving sequences also have a time limit, restricting free exploration.
Each mission usually consists of a driving section, which requires the player to drive to a certain destination (sometimes chasing another vehicle or being chased by enemies), and a third-person shooter section, often with an additional driving section afterwards. Police or rival gangs will frequently pursue the protagonist. The player can hijack any car or bus from the streets, or move on foot.
Third-person shooter sequences are longer and more prominently featured than the corresponding sections of GTA III. The protagonist can perform a variety of moves: sneak, crouch, roll to the sides, etc. A few missions are completely stealth-oriented, and are failed if the player character is discovered by enemies. It is possible to use the butt of the gun as a melee weapon, and also take hostages to prevent the police from shooting at the player character.
The game's distinguishing visual feature is a total absence of visible interface and text feedback. Rather than consulting a map, the player follows the car's blinking lights to arrive at the right destination. Damage taken by the protagonist is indicated by the character bending over, walking slower, and having blood on his clothes. Health is recovered by resting (leaning against a wall); there are no health kits scattered around. The protagonist can carry only two small or one larger weapon at once.3 points -
Bleach: Soul Resurreccion
lievin and 2 others reacted to SanoManjiroo for a game
In Bleach: Soul Resurreccion, players can relive the battles of Ichigo and the Soul Reapers as seen in the Bleach anime. Players have to take out Aizen and his army of Arrancars in horde battles similar to the ones seen in the Dynasty Warriors series.
The game features 14 story chapters to play through and 21 playable characters from the Bleach cast, each having their own special attacks they can perform. Players will defeat their foes by completing combos which can also be powered up when executed with proper timing. Defeated enemies and destroyed objects produce Soul Points which are used to buy character upgrades. Performing lengthy combos will multiply the number of Soul Points earned.3 points -
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
bloodbaron76 and 2 others reacted to RomStation for a game
Although Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is the successor to Sacred, it takes place 2,000 years before the events of the first game, in an Ancaria on the brink of war. The player's goal is to prevent this conflict, with the possibility of Light or Chaos prevailing in the end.
The game centers around T-Energy, a divine power once guarded by the Seraphim and later exploited by the High Elves, leading to a great war. The High Elves lost control, and a new empire based on T-Energy was established, creating rising tensions between the nobility and clergy.
Players can choose from six characters, including the returning Seraphim and five new classes like the Dryads and the Inquisitor. Class choices affect the campaigns and available gods. Each god grants powerful spells with long cooldowns.
The gameplay remains similar to the original: players complete quests, fight creatures for experience and loot, and upgrade skills. Runes enhance character talents, and powerful combos can be created. The game also features multiplayer modes, including PvE, PvP, and network play options.3 points -

JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future

A follow up to the Dreamcast title Jet Grind Radio. The setting is Tokyo in the year 2024. Freedom is a valuable commodity and freedom of expression even more so. Gangs of misbehaving teens strap on rocket-powered roller blades and skate, grind, and mark their territory with graffiti tags.
Players take the role of the GGs, and can choose between any member of the gang, each with different stats, while in gang HQ. The city of Tokyo can be leisurely explored without a time limit, but the heat will be turned up when story missions are activated and the GGs find themselves being challenged by rival gangs or under attack from the cops. This time around spraying no longer requires thumbstick inputs; just roll up and start spraying away, although large tags still require more cans than smaller tags. Each section of the city has hidden objectives that are revealed by finding a hidden tape, and once completed these challenges will unlock new graffiti patterns.
In multiplayer modes players can challenge each other to races, point battles, and other competitions both in zones from the single player game as well as in special arenas.2 points -
Pokemon Bloody Platinum is a rom hack of Pokemon Platinum with a couple of interesting features that you can use. Characters have some modifications, but the story is the same with a couple of changes in some aspects.
While the story is the same, there are some interesting changes to the mechanics of the game. First of all, certain character sprites have been changed. Some characters look the same but have minor tweaks, like a change in color, while others look entirely different. Speaking of sprites, male and female Pokemon have different colors or sprites. Speaking of gender, there’s a good percentage of which one you can catch. There’s also a nice divide to which Pokemon you can catch during the day and night. Depending on the starter Pokemon you chose will also determine your rival’s team and build, which is an interesting mechanic. Finally, a ROUTE LEADER is an enemy Trainer with the best and strongest Pokemon you can encounter when you go to a Route.2 points -
Ratchet: Gladiator
Angelique999 and one other reacted to adidi for a game
Ratchet: Deadlocked is the fourth game in the Ratchet & Clank series by Insomniac Games. The storyline involves Ratchet and Clank, along with Al, being kidnapped and forced to compete in a underground reality show called "DreadZone" run by the media mogul Gleeman Vox on the outer fringes of the galaxy.
The game differs from its predecessors in that it focuses more on shooting than platforming and puzzle elements. The game allows you to use two bots to fight along side you, which can be upgraded over time with better weapons and firepower. There is a total of 10 weapons in the game, significantly less than the other games. However, modding these weapons is more emphasized than before, with different kinds of Alpha and Omega mods. Omega mods can be used on any weapon, and range from the freeze mod to the magma mod. Alpha mods are weapon-specific, and increase the rate of fire, ammo capacity, and power. The game also features online multiplayer.
Clank is not a playable character in this game, although he gives advice to Ratchet over his communication link.2 points -

Gadgets include the Solid Eye (electronic binoculars) and the Metal Gear Mk. II (exploration and stunning robot). The multiplayer, Metal Gear Online, features original modes like "Sneaking Mission" and "Team Sneaking" based on stealth elements.2 points -

God of War: Ascension is the seventh installment in the series and serves as a prequel. The player controls Kratos, a former servant of Ares, who is tricked into killing his own family. After breaking his blood oath, Kratos is imprisoned and must fight for his freedom.

Pokémon Version Argent SoulSilver
Kamiko989 and one other reacted to PrinceOfDark for a game
Pokémon SoulSilver Version is an enhanced remake of one of the second installments in the Pokémon Main RPG Series, Pokémon Silver Version.
Set in the region of Johto, the player controls a new Pokémon Trainer on his/her way to meet up with Pokémon Researcher Professor Elm at his lab to receive his/her first Pokémon. While running an errand for Elm, the player returns to find that a thief has stolen one of the professor's Pokémon. This event starts your quest to becoming a Pokémon master, leading you through the region of Johto and later Kanto, to battle the mysterious Team Rocket and capture all 493 Pokémon.
Along with retaining most of the original game's features, SoulSilver contains quite a few new updates. Like Silver the story will incorporate the legendary Pokémon Lugia (who can be seen on the game's box art), although this time in a bigger fashion. Graphics have been upgraded to 3D models to resemble the series previous Nintendo DS iterations, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The ability to have any one of your Pokémon following you on the Overworld Screen which was limitedly seen in Pokémon Yellow has been added.
Included with the game is a peripheral known as the Pokéwalker. Acting as a pedometer, the Pokéwalker allows you to wirelessly transfer a Pokémon from SoulSilver to it. The player also earns a form of money known as "watts", which is used to help catch other Pokémon and buy items.

Def Jam: Fight for NY
HungryBear70 and one other reacted to Mohtimad for a game
Def Jam: Fight for NY is the sequel to the out-of-left-field Def Jam: Vendetta.
The game opens with the person you beat in the previous game, D-Mobb, being arrested. As the police are driving, an SUV comes out of nowhere and smashes into the car, setting D-Mobb free. After a quick cutscene, it turns out the person who was driving the SUV was you, and you have now joined D-Mobb's crew.
Fight for NY's story mode takes you through the ranks, and pits you against tougher and tougher fighters. You start off in D-Mobb's crew as a nobody and will have to work your way up, fighting off people from other crews, including D-Mobb's rival, Crow. You'll take part mostly in one-on-one brawls, with the odd team match and free for all thrown in.
To aid you in fighting, you can use the environment to hurt your enemy. You can smash people into wooden/cement walls, fences, or just whack them off of a wooden pillar. Speakers, soda machines, garbage cans... All there to harm your enemy (or you). Some objects are interactive, such as floodlights, which will change the lighting of the ring once someone's been thrown into them. You have weapons at your disposal, usually a metal pipe, pool cue, and a broken bottle.
The crowd also gets into the action, which can be good or bad for you. You can throw an enemy into a crowd and have them push him towards you; you can knock a stunned enemy into the crowd, and they will hold him down, giving you free shots; or you can throw an opponent into a part of the crowd holding a weapon, and they'll use the weapon against him.
There are five fighting styles available to you. There is Street Fighting, which focuses on punches; Kickboxing, which focuses on kick attacks; Martial Arts, which focuses on speed, running, and acrobatic attacks; Wrestling, which focuses on standard wrestling moves, like bodyslams; and Submissions, which focus on wearing down a specific part of the enemy until that limb is damaged enough to earn a submission.
In addition to Story mode, you have Battle mode, which allows you to play with up to four players in different types of matches.
Fight for NY has lots of unlockables. Earning reward points from Battle matches, you can purchase new fighters or venues to fight in.2 points -

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Tommy Vercetti is a gangster who just got off a fifteen year prison sentence for not squealing on his friends. Because he didn't rat out his "family", Tommy's sent to work with Sonny Forelli, his old boss. Sonny gives him an easy drug job, but everything goes wrong, and Tommy loses everything. Upon returning to Sonny, he gets mad and wants his money back. Unfortunately, everybody in Vice City, from gangsters and Cubans to bikers and politicians are in his way, and it's up to Tommy to clear a path.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City offers the same free-roaming driving and action gameplay style as its predecessor, but in a new setting based on the city of Miami. The game includes all the features of the previous installment and builds upon them. There are new cars in the game, reminiscent of typical vehicles from the 1980's. Some cars are earlier models of the vehicles from GTA III. A few missions also involve the protagonist navigating a boat.
New to this installment is the ability to drive motorcycles. Tommy can drive a variety of two-wheeled vehicles, from huge Harley-esque bikes to dirt bikes to a standard motorcycle. Flying is also a bigger part of the game, as the player can fly small planes and helicopters, traveling from area to area, landing on helipads on top of towering skyscrapers.
Firearms are for the most part the same as in GTA III, and melee weapons have been added to the protagonist's arsenal. Tommy can use riot batons, crowbars, and a few others. Activities outside of the missions (driving taxis, delivering sick people to hospitals, firefighting and playing a vigilante policeman) are available as well.
To effectively capture the mood of the 1980s, the soundtrack has been altered to fit the time period. Players will listen to an estimated nine hours of music (nearly three times the amount featured in the previous game) across ten radio stations. Hactaragon and one other reacted to RomStation for a game
Path of Radiance is the first installment in the Fire Emblem series to have 3D. Set on the Tellius continent, a soldier called Ike rescues the princess of Crimea and finds out that the Daein kingdom has invaded the country. He must guide her with his fellow mercenaries to Gallia. During the journey, the true reasons for the war are revealed.
You command your units across a 3D battlefield with turn-based mechanics. Each turn, you can only move a set amount of spaces over the grid. Turns can be used to visit locations, use items or attack enemies. Each battle is stats-based and has a specific objective. You do not fight yourself, instead you control the items and weapons to influence the stats, and make use of the enemies' weaknesses. The maps have different scenarios, where you have to rescue a certain character, create distractions to move past enemies, or kill certain foes.
The game is heavy on anime-styled story sequences. As with all Fire Emblem games, the characters are unique individuals that cannot be revived when they fall in battle. In order to continue with the story, only the team leaders need to survive. Characters can equip a range of weapons and possess magical abilities. Upon discovering 'hidden purposes', unique abilities can be acquired.2 points -
Rogue Galaxy
Faaf and one other reacted to SaddestOne for a game
Rogue Galaxy is the North American and European localized version of Rogue Galaxy (2005), only released in Japan at the time. Instead of only localizing the game, developer Level-5 Inc. spent 2 years to improve the game and add new features and content. This version was also re-released in Japan as Rogue Galaxy (Director's Cut).
The original single-layer DVD was replaced by dual-layer and the doubled amount of space was used for smoother, better-looking graphics and additional data. Aside from the 4 existing planets, a fifth one, Alistia, was added. It is not part of the main story, but deepens the storyline and has new quests and items. A key to access the new world can be found in chapter 8. The existing Insectron Tournament sidequest has been expanded with two species of Insectrons, each with 8 types of Insectrons per species. The level design of Rosencaster Prison, the Gladius Towers, the Daytron factory, Rosa's desert town, and Rosa's Labyrinth has also been altered.
Over 2,000 lines of additional voice dialogue were added, the battle animations were reworked, damaging enemies has become easier (attack formula revision) and Toady's analysis of weapons has also been simplified.
Other gameplay improvements include the introduction of collectible Burning Chips, which power the Burning Strike attack, more items overall, two new weapons for each character (except Jaster), with 140 weapons in total, and 5 bonus costumes for each character (6 for Kisala and Simon).
Jaster Rogue, a young man from the planet Rosa, has always dreamed of exploring the stars. His home planet is a great source of highly sought natural resources and so has recently been occupied by the Longardia Commonwealth as protection from the Draxian Empire. The people of Rosa are highly oppressed and not allowed to leave the planet, but fortunately for Jaster, he's mistaken for the legendary hunter, Desert Claw, by a band of space pirates. Their captain, Dorgengoa, recruits him and other various people for the task of finding a mythical planet, called Eden, which is said to hold the secrets of an advanced civilization and vast treasures; enough to rule the galaxy. But the Daytron Corporation and its president Valkog Drazer is also looking for this mythical planet and will stop at nothing to find it.
Rogue Galaxy is an RPG with a science fiction background. The game boasts a continuous environment with real-time battles and no loading screens. It also consists of a weapon upgrade system that allows the player to synthesize new weapons by combining old ones.
The combat system allows 'Tech' attacks which are team attacks where two or more team members can combine their abilities into a single large scale attack. A special attack, called 'Burning Strike', allows the character to attack with multiple strikes by pressing certain buttons at the correct time. Every correct button press yields another strike added on to the attack. Also, items and enemies can be picked up and thrown at other enemies to damage them. Enemies can also be invulnerable until some special condition has been met, i.e. certain weapons must be used, or an enemy can only be attacked at certain weak areas.
Early on in the game, the player gains access to the Factory. This is an area where machine components are laid out on the floor, and hooked up to power supplies. This is essentially a time-flow puzzle, where the player must take into account which materials to use, how to process them, and combine them at the right times to produce a sample of an item. If successful, the item can be bought at shops after a while. New blueprints for different items and machine components can be found by talking to various NPCs.
Weapons in the game gain experience as the player uses them until they're 'Maxed', at which time they can be combined with other maxed weapons to synthesize new and better weapons. After the weapon has maxed out its experience, it continues to gain experience in other elemental categories to a certain degree. A 'Mastered' weapon has its experience and elemental categories maxed out.2 points -

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
4c0c0 and one other reacted to RomStation for a game
Twilight Princess is the first Legend of Zelda game for the Wii and also the last for GameCube. At first Link is a simple farm boy, whose tasks consist of herding goats to watching children in Ordon village, Link's home town. One day, Link is asked by the mayor to run an errand in Castle Town, but things sudden go wrong…
The land becomes dark, and strange creatures appear from another world called the Twilight Realm, which turns most into ghosts. Link, however, becomes a wolf. After becoming a wolf, Link is aided by Midna, a resident of the Twilight Realm. Midna helps Link find a way to turn human again along with other tasks.
The wolf cannot use a sword or other items. Instead, as a wolf Link must use his senses to solve puzzles and get past obstacles. The beast can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees and to get in places. It can push blocks with its head to climb higher or reveal hidden passageways. Additionally, it can attack enemies by biting or pouncing on them.
As a human, Link can move around quickly, aim his bow, swing his sword, and even fish. Link also collects many different items, which allow him to perform varied attacks and reach places he couldn't before. Link performs many attacks with his sword and can even learn other sword moves.
The game's art is similar to the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time, rather than the cel-shaded look of The Wind Waker. Chronologically, the game takes place between the two aforementioned titles and quite a few locations from Ocarina of Time can be visited. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. With the help of Midna, you can easily travel around quickly later in the game.2 points -

Baten Kaitos Origins is a prequel to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Long ago, the evil god Malpercio attempted to destroy the other gods; a large battle of the gods ensued, and following this the people of the world were forced to flee to various islands floating in the sky. 1000 years after the war the people live peacefully in the sky for the most part; but Emperor Olgen, the emperor of one of these islands, has begun a plot to gain control of all the islands.
The main character of the story is Sagi, a "Spirit-born" individual who has been given a secret mission to assassinate Emperor Olgen. In similar fashion to Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, you don't actually control Sagi in the game but rather his guardian spirit. Throughout the game you can give Sagi advice, and as you progress the story will unfold revealing the plot that may threaten all of the islands...
Gameplay is similar to Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and features a card based battle system. Many items in the world have a "magna essence"; these items can be captured in a card for use later. Some items are useful for attacking and defending, others can help replenish your health, and some can be used to solve puzzles. When a battle begins your deck of cards will be randomly dealt to you; battles are turn based, on each turn you can select cards from those visible to use. Different cards also feature different attributes, and various combos are possible. When a battle is won, your characters will earn experience points, gold, and will also recover all hit points.
The battles in the game aren't random; as you explore the worlds, enemies will be visible on screen in some areas and contact with them begins the battle. In addition to the main story line, numerous sub-quests will also become available by talking with various characters; completing a sub-quest will typically earn a useful item for you as well as provide an opportunity for your characters to level up. You will encounter many types of enemies on both the main quest and subquests; since different enemies may require different strategies, you have the ability to customize the deck of cards you will use in battle. As you gain experience, you will also gain the ability to create multiple decks.2 points -

From Capcom's Clover studios, the team behind Viewtiful Joe 2, comes a 3-D cell shaded action adventure in the world of feudal Japan. Ōkami tells the tale of a wolf-goddess named Amaterasu who must prevent an evil being known as Orochi from taking over the beautiful world of feudal Japan. Ōkami takes the already well established cell shading technique and turns it into a traditional Hokusai-style Japanese woodblock print visual.
To give the player a sense of being in a painting, Amaterasu is given a paint brush in which the player can cut enemies down with, create bridges or wind, and restore the forest to its natural beauty. With each defeated enemy, color returns and the natural life force slowly regenerates. While playing, players call up a canvas where they can draw with the celestial brush. New abilities and techniques are acquired as you progress.
Ōkami is filled with large worlds and dungeons to explore on your quest to restore the lush trees and wildlife to their former glory. Many monsters and large epic boss battles come between Amaterasu and her goal. To fulfill her objective there will be many people along the way that will help her if she helps them.2 points -
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is the direct sequel to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Seven years later, the Prince is hunted by a monster known as Dahaka. He finds out that anyone who manipulates the Sands of Time is destined to die shortly afterwards; but the Prince has escaped his fate, and that's the reason for Dahaka's rage. Now the Prince must travel to the mysterious Island of Time, where he hopes to find the Empress of Time and, through time manipulation, somehow prevent her from creating the Sands in the first place...
The game comes with a new, darker look for the Prince and his surroundings. The fights are more brutal and take a larger part in the game, as the Prince now has enhanced fighting moves including new attack moves via walls and poles.
Even though the fights make up a large part of the game, the puzzle sections are still present and more complicated than before. A new move in the puzzle sections of the game is the curtain slide, which allows you to slide down to the ground slowly. There are still plenty of options for time manipulation and the storyline also lets you travel back and forth in time, visiting the same locations in an alternate time period.2 points -
