Need for Speed: Most Wanted 'Black Edition, a collector's edition of Most Wanted, was released in celebration of the Need for Speed series' 10th anniversary and in conjunction with the release of Most Wanted. The Black Edition features additional races, bonus cars and other additional content. The Black Edition comes with a special feature DVD that contains interviews and videos about the game. The Black Edition was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in the United States and Australia; only the PlayStation 2 version of Black Edition was released additionally for Europe.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword once again places the player in control of Link, a Hylian boy who this time around lives in the floating nation of Skyloft. Link is in love with a local girl called Zelda but one day while flying on their bird mounts, a tornado shows up out of nothing and takes Zelda away from Link. After that Link teams up with Fi, a spirit living within a sword and he descends to the long-forgotten surface to search for Zelda.

The game is structured very similar to previous Zelda games: you travel through an overworld in search of temples to visit and once in you solve a series of puzzles before fighting a boss at the end and receive the next bit of plot. The biggest change is that the overworld is more focused on puzzles this time around with only a handful of action. Also new is the implementation of the Wii Motion Plus which allows full 1:1 controls and new puzzle possibilities.

The Mushroom Kingdom just got a whole lot more hectic as Mario and friends double up for furious kart racing. This time around, each kart holds two racers that can switch places at any time, so choose from a huge cast of favorites and pair them up any way you see fit. The character in front handles the driving duties, while the character in the rear doles out damage with six normal items and eight special items that only specific characters can use. Get ready for some intense multiplayer mayhem with your favorite characters, including Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Peach, Bowser, and Koopa.

As an elite SEAL commander, you must lead your team in striking important targets in 12 intense international missions and protect freedom across the globe. Overcome the obstacles in single player mode or connect to up to 16 players online in five mission types, clan challenges and 22 playable maps. Communicate with your SEALs and other special operations forces via the PS2 USB headset. Failure is not an option.

Sergeant J. Keller is a Black Ops operative who has just failed his mission, and failed it badly. Captured, he is imprisoned and interrogated in order to reveal the details of the operation and uncover what went wrong. The player relives Keller’s failed mission across eight different areas, fighting enemy soldiers while trying to stay alive. The game features both primary and secondary objectives, such as reaching a rendezvous point or collecting intelligence.

Black is a classic first-person shooter featuring a wide variety of weapons and interactive, destructible environments. Enemies can be taken out by blowing up nearby fuel tanks, for example, and weak cover such as wooden fences can be shot apart to expose opposing forces.

The game offers four difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Black Ops. On Easy, only the primary objective is required. On Normal and Hard, some secondary objectives must also be completed. Black Ops mode, which is unlocked after finishing the game on Hard, requires all objectives to be completed. New weapons are unlocked as levels are completed.

Sid Meier returns to his roots with this remake of Sid Meier's Pirates!, his 1987 game about sailing the high seas in search of treasure. As in the original, you will plunder cities, sink enemy ships, and more. A plethora of different styles of gameplay will have you sneaking out of prison, dancing with the governor's daughter, engaging in real-time strategic combat, and a slew of others.

Sid Meier's Pirates! features a new 3D engine, but its style of stringing several minigames together to make a congruent game remains true to the original.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the fourth major installment in the series, developed by Hideo Kojima. It resolves previous plotlines by reintroducing characters from earlier games. The story follows an aged Solid Snake deployed to the Middle East in 2014 to thwart Liquid Ocelot, who aims to control the Sons of the Patriots and build an army.

The game introduces new actions, an enhanced camera, and a redesigned combat system. Camouflage is replaced by Octocamo, and the stamina gauge by a stress meter, affecting accuracy based on combat and climate conditions. Snake has access to a diverse array of customizable weapons.

Gadgets include the Solid Eye (electronic binoculars) and the Metal Gear Mk. II (exploration and stunning robot). The multiplayer, Metal Gear Online, features original modes like "Sneaking Mission" and "Team Sneaking" based on stealth elements.

Throne of Agony is the sequel to Dungeon Siege II and it picks up the story where the previous game and its add-on left off; after the 2nd cataclysm altered the world of Aranna. Along with the familiar hack 'n slash dungeon crawling gameplay, it also has new playable characters and a non-linear, single player campaign, and co-operative multi-player. There are two different game modes: Normal and Elite. Player can choose from multiple characters, which are customized as they level up into Hero classes and Legendary classes.

There are numerous pets and companions to play with. Gameplay involves switching between unique pets and companions to use their special powers. Face over 100 monsters (some from the Dungeon Siege world as well as many new creatures).

Cooperative campaign allows you to play with a friend where each player can bring a pet or companion. The game also has multi-player "Battle Arenas" for players who don't have time for a full campaign.

Vice City Stories is a prequel to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2 years earlier) and it is the sequel to Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Set in 1984, players take on the role of Vic Vance, an army soldier who loves his country, family, and himself. One bad decision turns everything around and he is kicked onto the streets of a tough city. He has to build an empire to survive, or be left to die. Together with his brother Lance, a drug addict, the siblings try to take over Vice City.

Just like other GTA titles, gameplay consists of third-person shooting and driving sequences in an open environment. You will meet new enemies and gangs, and old foes. The missions require you to kill with a selection of weapons, steal vehicles such as a car, a boat, or a plane, rob to make it big, or just to have fun. New features for the portable version include swimming, and side missions such as Air Rescue, Vigilante, Firefighter, and Paramedic.

Similar to San Andreas' gang wars, this title has an Empire mode. To make money, you have to take over businesses from other gangs. By attacking and damaging rival businesses, it will be put up for sale, for you to take over. With a new building constructed, you can then choose an activity such as prostitution, drugs, protection racket, smuggling, robbery, or work as a loan shark. These activities earn money and the location in the city influences the revenue.

Multiplayer is available over Wi-Fi with ten different game modes, either focusing on fighting (Vice City Survivor), businesses (Empire Takedown), racing (Street Rage), stealing/selling (Grand Theft Auto), capture the flag game types, or games centered around a single vehicle such as a tank.

In MySims Agents, the player must stop the evil plans of Morcubus. To accomplish this, the player must recruit different MySims with different traits to do different things to make a crime-busting team. You do many tasks such as following footprints, picking locks, hacking computers, and collecting clues and evidence to the case. The player has many gadgets to use to help with these tasks. There are many locations that you must look for clues and evidence, including an icy cave with a yeti, a spooky mansion, a beach boardwalk, and even an ancient temple. The game relies heavily on the Wii motion control for doing tasks. You also have your own headquarters, for which you can customize the layout and put down furniture unlocked during the mysteries.

Twilight Princess is the first Legend of Zelda game for the Wii and also the last for GameCube. At first Link is a simple farm boy, whose tasks consist of herding goats to watching children in Ordon village, Link's home town. One day, Link is asked by the mayor to run an errand in Castle Town, but things sudden go wrong…

The land becomes dark, and strange creatures appear from another world called the Twilight Realm, which turns most into ghosts. Link, however, becomes a wolf. After becoming a wolf, Link is aided by Midna, a resident of the Twilight Realm. Midna helps Link find a way to turn human again along with other tasks.

The wolf cannot use a sword or other items. Instead, as a wolf Link must use his senses to solve puzzles and get past obstacles. The beast can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees and to get in places. It can push blocks with its head to climb higher or reveal hidden passageways. Additionally, it can attack enemies by biting or pouncing on them.

As a human, Link can move around quickly, aim his bow, swing his sword, and even fish. Link also collects many different items, which allow him to perform varied attacks and reach places he couldn't before. Link performs many attacks with his sword and can even learn other sword moves.

The game's art is similar to the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time, rather than the cel-shaded look of The Wind Waker. Chronologically, the game takes place between the two aforementioned titles and quite a few locations from Ocarina of Time can be visited. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. With the help of Midna, you can easily travel around quickly later in the game.

Crash and his friends are back in a knockdown, drag-out arena rumble. Get ready to ride, race, jump, throw, and battle it out to the finish in frantic, head-to-head battles, and heart-pumping chases. Choose your favorite character, including Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex, and new baddie Rill Roo, and race for points in more than 30 competitive events. With a Multitap, you can race up to three of your friends and show who's the top bandicoot. It's a good old-fashioned bandicoot brawl.

Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War is an action RPG where the player takes on the role of a mercenary during the English/French conflict. The player leads soldiers and warriors into battle on horseback or on foot, fighting alongside historical figures like Joan of Arc or the King of England. The game has a central hub where the player can find jobs and dealers to upgrade weaponry and hire more troops. Missions are presented in a strategic format, with the player having to take over territories to complete objectives. Battles are a hack and slash affair, with the player attempting to clear areas of enemy troops and defeat VIP enemies for treasure and fame.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a 2D side-scrolling action game with light RPG elements. The game focuses on two protagonists: Kisuke, a young, male ninja who has lost his memory, and Momohime, a princess that fights demon possession against a spirit named Jinkuro, who has stolen her body to fight his own personal war. Though the character's stories are separate, there are times that their paths cross.

Players traverse the countryside, caves, villages and forests to complete their quests, level up, and collect swords (108 total). Players can utilize three swords at a time, as continual use or strong enemy attacks will break weapons until they have a chance to recover after a battle. Along the way, Kisuke and Momohime will travel multiple paths to reach various destinations around the game's world (similar to other branching level side-scrollers), find secret areas for special items, forge swords, learn how to cook foods for energy, and fight huge bosses in their personal quests.

Dungeon Siege III is an action role-playing game set in the medieval fantasy world of Ehb. It has been attacked and defeated by the mysterious Jeyne Kassynder, whose new goal is to destroy everything connected to the Montbarron family, the land's elite guards. The player controls one of four characters (Lucas the fighter, Anjali the fire creature, Katarina the archer, or Reinhart the mage), who have a close connection to this family, aiming to save their lives and uncover the truth behind Kassynder.

The combat system is designed for gamepads, with direct controls for movement and attacks. There are no health or mana potions; instead, characters collect colored spheres dropped by enemies. The player can recruit one of three other characters as a companion controlled by AI, while managing equipment and leveling up choices. Skills include passive talents and active special attacks, which can be specialized in damage or speed.

The game features dialogues with varying outcomes depending on the character used, with choices impacting quest resolutions and story consequences.

Welcome to Strangetown! In the Nintendo DS version of the Sims 2, players take on the role of the custodian of a broken down hotel in the middle of a strange, UFO-infested desert town.

The game is entirely real-time, meaning that as the clock advances in the real world, time will flow in the game. Guests check in and out after several (real) days, you'll see holidays come and go, and night and day will cycle depending when you choose to play the game.

In addition to the hotel management portion of the game, you'll be constantly improving your hotel, adding new rooms, and decorating them. Each new room usually offers a different touchscreen activities, so you'll find yourself composing music in the lounges, painting art in the gallery, dissecting aliens in the secret laboratory, and playing a pirate-themed card game in the casino (Moogoo Monkey, the card game from the Urbz DS also makes an appearance here if you can find it!).

Finally, there's a simple story running through the game, as different VIP guests check themselves in and refuse to leave. First you'll have to deal with the local mob boss, then a strange Goth girl with a fascination for magic, and finally a megalomaniacal robot.

If you can balance your own Sim's wants and needs (and sanity) with all your guests' requirements, you'll find Strangetown a happy, healthy place to live.

The young boy Yugi Muto, his friend Joey Wheeler, and other characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga are sucked into a virtual game created by a mad scientist named Scott Irvine, who wants revenge against Seto Kaiba, the CEO of Kaiba Corporation, for firing him. The player has a choice between two scenarios, playing as either Yugi, the main hero of the manga, or Kaiba, his antagonist. Both will eventually have to stop the emperor Heishin from taking over the world, at the same time trying to stop Scott Irvine, and face the creatures that stand on their path to freedom: the Egyptian gods Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Falsebound Kingdom is a real-time strategy game with elements of a turn-based RPG. Most of the gameplay consists of navigating troops (commanded by a marshal), battling imperial forces and trying to emerge victorious in order to advance the storyline. Captured towns can be fortified; armories and infirmaries can be built in order to provide supplies and healing for the marshals. The actual battles are handled in a Japanese-style turn-based RPG fashion, the characters exchanging blows until either the player-controlled party or the opponents are defeated.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, the player's goal is to defeat various characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime, and card game, eventually making it to the four Rulers of Ancient Egypt, who have the precious Millennium pieces. Each character must be defeated at least five times in order to get to the next stage. Typically, the goal of a card duel is to reduce the opponent's 8000 life points to zero; however, sometimes a duel can be won by forcing the opponent to run out of cards in their deck, or by having all five pieces of Exodia in one hand.

As usually in Yu-Gi-Oh! games, cards represent monsters: as a general rule, a monster with a higher attack and defense rating emerges victorious. However, in this game elemental affinities play a role as well. For example, a monster of the Aqua element will be beaten by a monster of the Thunder element even if his attack and defense ratings are somewhat higher.

The player can also create his/her own cards by combining card halves that can be obtained after winning a duel. A trade mode and a real-life battle mode (using the link cable) is also available.

Caesar II is set in the time of ancient Rome, and lets you try to be the next Caesar. You start with one province and have to build an efficient city. To do this you'll have to manage the water supply properly, make sure the city is policed well, and provide adequate education, entertainment, baths, and temples (which also hold your money and can be robbed if you don't have enough protection).

At some point, possibly more then once, you'll have to defend your province from invading tribes that don't really want you there. You also have to connect all the little villages in the province with roads and make some industry, like stone mining, grapes, etc. for which you can then create markets in your city.

When you have achieved the necessary requirements, you'll be able to start all over again in a new and more challenging province. Do well enough and you can become the new Caesar.

The former king of Oddesia has entrusted you with an important, dangerous task. You must find the sacred ORA stone, which possesses the powers of life, light and happiness, and retrieve it before the king of the alien race, Natas, does. He has conquered this land and plunged it into an age of terror and despair, plagued with violence. It is up to you to stand against him and return your world to its former glory.

Dungeon Explorer plays like Gauntlet: you choose one of several different characters to play as (Fighter, Thief, Warlock, Witch, Bard, Bishop, Elf and Knome) and set out on your adventure alone or with up to four other players. Battles are real-time and of the shooter variety, ie, rather than swing a sword, you fire knives (or spells depending on your class). Enemies respawn out of holes in the ground which must be eradicated to keep them from pouring forth in waves. There are a number of items to be found and used throughout the game including potions of white and black magic, healing drinks and the like, but unlike Gauntlet there is no food to worry about.

Based on the sequel to the popular 2002 movie of the same name, Spider-Man 2 once again places the player in the web-slinger's tights as he goes up against Dr. Octopus in this 3D adventure game.

Unlike the first game, however, the sequel is much more open-ended (à la Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), allowing Spider-Man free reign to explore New York City and performing everyday heroics; stopping muggers, bank robberies and car-jackers to more mundane pursuits such as delivering pizzas and snapping photos for the Daily Bugle.

However, the action becomes even more intense as not only does Spidey have to keep the streets safe in general for the citizens of Manhattan, he also has to face up against such super villains as Rhino, Shocker, Mysterio and Calypso, as well as a few entanglements with the Black Cat along the way to square off against Dr. Octopus and save New York in the process!
