Fall of Cybertron takes place after its predecessor. The Autobots and Decepticons, still at war, must leave their dying world, Cybertron. Led by Optimus Prime, the Autobots have constructed the Ark to escape, but the Decepticons aim to thwart their plans. The game is a third-person shooter allowing players to control Transformers with unique abilities. Unlike War for Cybertron, there's a single campaign alternating between Autobots and Decepticons. The game features multiplayer modes and a "Horde" mode called Escalation, where up to four players face increasingly difficult enemy waves.
