Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover between the two Japanese fighting game series, Tekken and Street Fighter. It's a 2D Street Fighter game incorporating licensed characters from Tekken. It features the visual style of Street Fighter IV and includes core moves like Super Combos and EX Attacks. The game focuses on tag team gameplay, allowing players to switch between characters and execute complex combos. Victory is determined by the first player to lose a character's health to zero, not the whole team. Special attacks are activated by filling a three-tier Cross Gauge. Street Fighter characters use a six-button system, while Tekken characters use a four-button system. The game introduces two new systems: the gem system for boosting character stats and the pandora mode for sacrificing a character to empower another temporarily. Both local and online multiplayer are supported.
