Mario: Escape from the Jail - Definitive Edition is a ROM hack created by aglab2 that features 5 main worlds and multiple secondary worlds to explore, with 50 stars to collect. This hack is a remaster of the original Escape from the Jail, made by TheGael95 in 2016.
In terms of story, this game serves as a prequel to Ztar Attack under the label "Ztar Attack 0.5". Unlike Ztar Attack Rebooted, the game uses the original level layout, but key sections are condensed by quality standards - visuals and exploration. Additionally, new gameplay mechanics and custom resources are implemented.

The game requires the expansion pack to function, don't forget to activate it!In Project64, click on "Options" and then "Settings" in the "Options" tab. You need to uncheck the "Hide advanced settings" box. Then, go back to the settings, there will be many more tabs, click on "ROM Settings", and set the RDRAM size to 8 MB.
