Tales of Xillia 2 is a role-playing game on PS3. It is the first in the series to be developed by Bandai Namco Games.

The story takes place in Elympios one year after the events of Tales of Xillia, and has a more techno-futuristic atmosphere than its predecessor in the series. Play as Ludger Kresnik, a skilled fighter following in his brother Julius' footsteps and working for Spirius Corporation, a prestigious development company alongside Elle Marta, a 8-year-old girl traveling alone and trying by any means to find her father.

The game uses a combat system called "Cross Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System" with a new "Weapon Shift" system that allows the player to change weapons during combat. Unlike any other Tales of game, the player's choices during cutscenes can affect the course of the story.
