A sign in the first overworld area divulges the plot. With the help of Rosalina, Princess Peach rebuilt New Shine City, and they dedicated it to the Grand Shining Star. However, Bowser came in and opened the portals to the Shining Stars, which have the odd tendency to attract nearby lava, and he plans to use them to flood the kingdom with lava. Now, Mario must collect the Shining Stars to revive the Grand Shining Star and defeat Bowser.

Indispensable: To launch the rom you have to go to parameter then in options you have to In Project64, click on "Options" then on "Parameter" in the "Options" tab you have to go to "Config: SM64 SHINING STARS".

Then you have to click on memory size and put it from 4 to 8mo.

Then restart the game.
