Thoroughbred Breeder II is one of the many horse racing simulation games released for Super Famicom. The goal is to win the Hect Cup, a group of six fictional races. The player has the ability to breed their horse in order to enhance its aptitudes. In this follow-up to Thoroughbred Breeder, the player can compete against famous horses from Showa era. Compared to the latter, the second game offers new settings, bug fixes, and an adjusted balance.
