This collector's edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of NASCAR. The game is completely identical to NASCAR 98, except that Darlington has been added to the list of tracks and the racing legend Richard Petty has been added to the driver's roster, along with the obvious cover art changes. The game also comes with a NASCAR 50th anniversary key chain.

With top-of-the-line racing simulation NASCAR 98 allows you to race with 24 drivers including legend Dale Earnhardt and 10 official tracks and extra 6 fantasy tracks. This NASCAR game allows you to hear all screeching burnouts, oiled skids, and emergency vehicles, or listen to provided music. This includes the modes season, Arcade, and new custom racing(control opponents,laps,gas gauge, and just about anything).
