Comme l'indique la description, ceci est un portage d'Alone in the Dark 2, qui ne pouvait probablement pas être nommé ainsi faute d'un premier épisode sur PS1. Si les modèles 3D des personnages remis au goût du jour ainsi que l'ajout de différents modes de difficultés pourraient vous pousser à essayer cette version, je vous la déconseille toutefois fortement ! Le jeu subit de très forts ralentissements au cours des scènes de combat, l'audio est au rabais, l'ajout de trois cinématiques random en CGI font tache et n'étaient absolument pas nécessaires, et je ne parle même pas des temps de chargement insupportables à chaque changement d'écran ou du fait que chaque sauvegarde prend une bonne trentaine de secondes à être effectuée/chargée, là où elle n'en prenait pas plus de trois sur DOS, en plus de bouffer trois slots (TROIS !!) sur la carte mémoire — n'hésitez pas à utiliser les saves states pour un jeu pareil.

 

Un portage à fuir, en un mot comme en cent.
