Prototype 2 is an open-world action game, sequel to Prototype. Set in New York Zero during a third outbreak, the protagonist, James Heller, seeks revenge for his deceased family by battling the Mercer virus, with which he is also infected. The game offers free exploration, main quests, and supernatural powers akin to the first installment, along with new abilities based on tentacles.
