This is an enhanced version of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. In addition to the original game, referred to as "The Journey", it adds a new chapter set after the events of the original game, with an estimate of 30 additional gameplay hours. It is called "The Answer" and its storyline focuses on Aigis, one of the central characters of the game.

Other additions include a new "Hard" difficulty level, 23 new Personas (creatures the player invokes to customize the characters), the ability to fuse weapons, and the ability to change the characters' clothes.

Further information :

Direct Commands is now selectable from the Tactics Menu, like in Persona 3 Portable. This means you can choose to turn on AI if you'd like, or control everyone directly. Remember to set Tactics Memory to On in the Settings Menu, or it'll reset your manually-controlled allies back to AI every battle.

All bugs regarding Fusion Spells, the Persona Change Menu, and regenerative skills have been fixed. There is a small bug against the final boss of The Answer, where the camera misbehaves when commanding allies who would normally be AI-controlled.
