Years ago, Lord Morgan Hawkmoor and his army battled a deadly enemy powered by neverending souls. The only way they could be defeated was to seal them inside a vault, hoping it would never be released.

However, in the time of the great hero Maximo, someone has let the great evil loose from its cell, and its up to our heart boxer wearing soldier to defeat it once and for all. After searching with out reward for his lost love Sophia, Maximo must concentrate all his power towards the evil that awaits.

Set just a few months after the events of Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, you must take Maximo through the hell ridden roads, using his sword and shield to battle through the great many creatures that await him. But be careful, much like his last adventure, Maximo can lose his armour, leaving him open to attack.

D'un point de vue performance, tourne bien sur PCSX2. Testé avec la config suivante :

 

- GTX 860M (2Go).

- i7 4710HQ (2.50Ghz).

- 8Go RAM.

 

Pour ce qui est des graphismes :

 

Il y a un problème récurrent présent dans tout le jeu : Un bug d'ombre, qui est susceptible de rendre votre jeu très sombre :ceeea193ce792753b437d089a877983d.png

Pour remédier au problème :

  • Dans les paramètres du plugin vidéo (GS).
  • Dans Renderer, passez en "OpenGL" ou "D3D11" (Hardware).
  • Cochez la case "Enable HW Hacks", puis cliquez sur "Advanced Settings and Hacks".
  • Dans cette fenêtre, cochez "Disable Depth Emulation" et "Merge Sprite" et mettez "Squipdraw" à 1. Puis cliquez sur OK pour fermer cette fenêtre.
  • De retour sur la précédente, dans Blending Unit Accuracy, passez en "BASIC". Puis cliquez sur OK en bas de fenêtre.

Je vous recommande de redémarrer l'émulateur pour que les paramètres soient bien pris en compte. Vous aurez toujours votre jeu un peu sombre, mais moins de bugs graphiques (notamment avec la skybox). Augmentez la luminosité de votre écran si c'est injouable pour vous.

 

Vous pouvez tenter de passer en mode Software, mais demandera plus de ressources à l'émulateur.

seul bémol. l'inversement du dJoystick droite qui inverse la direction et aucun moyen pour changer cette option
