Developed and edited by Titus, Superman 64 on Nintendo 64 is considered one of the worst video games ever born. But before it was marketed, there was, as with all titles, a prototype. Surprisingly, this version looks better than the finished product.
For obscure reasons, some games are sloppy. The videogame story is full of examples but the most famous is that of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on Atari 2600 which had to be programmed in just 6 weeks while design time should have been longer.
Superman 64 is one of those missed games. For this title created by Titus, the studio was bridled in its creativity (the game would be 10% of what the developers intended to do!), Forced to completely redo the game a month before its release and s' Is bumped into Nintendo's approval policy.
According to Eric Caen, co-founder of Titus, the prototype is much better than what has been marketed.
