This is a Playstation release of two Saturn games bundled together: Langrisser IV and Langrisser V: The End of Legend. Both games form a separate sub-story within this strategy RPG series.

In the fourth game, general Gizarov receives the rule over a town as a present from king of Regensburg, and the nmayor's son Landius initiates a rebellion against him. In the fifth game, the story centers around a human-creating laboratory built by Gizarov, where the hero - an artificial human called Sigma - is raised. Soon it becomes evident that the story is connected to the general Langrisser story, and involves new evil forces trying to retrieve the cursed sword Alhazzard.
