Snapkid's

By

:
Shūto is a teenage boy in a world inhabited by majestic creatures called Wonders. When Shūto's father Genzō gives him a special "Snap Shooter" camera which can turn photographs of Wonders into cards with special powers, Shūto sets off to compete in the Snap Grand Prix, a tournament where players compete with their cards to be crowned the Snap champion. Along the way, Shūto encounters both friends and enemies as well as a conspiracy by an organization called Magnet which captures and exploits Wonders.
Snapkid's is a role-playing/card battle game. Throughout the game, the player explores the world and encounters wild Wonders to take pictures of before using the resulting cards in tournaments against computer-controlled opponents. When encountering a Wonder, the game switches to a first-person camera mode where the player must follow the Wonder with their crosshair in an attempt to take the best possible photograph. Taking a photograph will result in a card being generated, with the abilities of the card varying depending on the distance at which the picture was taken and the species and behavior of the photographed Wonder. In the card battle segments, the player can form a deck of up to 30 cards to use against their opponent. The player wins if the opponent's HP is reduced to 0, or if the deck from which the opponent can draw cards from runs out.
