Animal Basket does not use the normal digital controls, it uses analogue input, basically a POTs.

Further information :

To start the game, download the two versions and put the version "24 Jan 2009" (known as anmlbskt.zip) in the same directory as that of the version "19 Jan 2005" (known as from anmlbskta.zip) then launch the game via the "24 Jan" version.
