Du coup, le propos de la chanson colle bien avec l'univers de la série. Parodie sur l'absurde développement des banlieues d'après-guerre, relativement important aux États-Unis, mettant l'accent sur l'uniformité et la perte d'identité de ces maisons toutes similaires, construites sur les mêmes plans... et sur ses habitants et leurs valeurs "bourgeoises".
