The Godfather: Blackhand Edition is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Electronic Arts for the Wii console. It is based on the classic film "The Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola and allows you to play as a new character created for the game, who climbs the ranks of the Corleone family by completing missions and using tactics of persuasion or violence. The open world of the game is set in 1940s New York and offers you great freedom of exploration to accomplish your objectives and interact with the various characters in the game. You can take control of neighborhoods, extort merchants, and carry out assassinations to extend your influence over the city.

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition uses the VP6 video codec, common in Electronic Arts' titles, causing its videos to have vertical line artifacts and other glitches on many graphics cards. The Software Render will display VP6 video correctly, but is typically too slow.

However this can be fixed with "Manual Texture Sampling":
Options > Graphics Settings > Advanced Tab > Experimental : Manual Texture Sampling
