When a person dies with a deep grudge, a curse is born. A series of Ju-On horror films, all directed by the same director, have become popular since 2000, first in Japan, and then adapted for Hollywood in 2004 under the title "The Grudge".

This is a haunted house simulator adventure game in which Erika Yamada comes into contact with a curse while searching for her dog in an abandoned warehouse. Then, when she returns home, everyone in her family she meets is also cursed. You play as each character in first person, facing their own difficult episode.

Locations vary from a ruined factory to an abandoned hospital, an apartment building, a mannequin factory, and the film's cursed house. The game is essentially an interactive horror film that attempts to scare you as you explore the locations and try to survive the supernatural forces. The Wii Remote controls the player's flashlight and movement in the game. If the player jumps at scary moments with the remote, their score decreases. A person with a second remote control can also trigger scary events for the main player. The player must stay moving while searching for keys to open doors and batteries to recharge the flashlight, otherwise they will be attacked and succumb.
