VIP Mario 2 (also known as VIP and Wall Mix 2) is the second hack in the VIP/Wall/Alaska Mix Series. It's known for being, until now, the hardest hack of the bunch, introducing the ASCII sprites (which were backported for VIP and Wall Mix 1), but also for introducing a bit more ASM and Graphics than its predecessor.
It's also the first one where carol, the Brutal Mario's author participated (primairly as an anonymous), and the first hack in the series to include the "Screen Scrolling Pipes" from SMB3 (which where made by FuSoYa, the Lunar Magic creator, who used them in his hack Super Demo World: The Legend Continues, released in 2003), along with several custom sprites such as: Custom GFX for the title screen logo, because VIP 1 uses vanilla assets, Hammer Brothers from SMB3 and sprites from various Mario games, and custom bosses like the Spoo Lemmy boss, Giko Bowser and Neo VIPdeath (bassed on a Final Fantasy V boss).
