Mario and his friends were preparing for a party on Jamboree Island, a resort paradise by the sea.
However, Kamek suddenly appeared and hypnotized everyone while Mario was out at the market buying drinks for the party. Now, Mario must embark on an adventure to rescue his friends, who have been turned evil by the spell, and ultimately defeat Kamek.

SMW: Friends and Rivalry is a Super Mario World hack featuring traditional level design, reminiscent of classic Mario games by Nintendo.

It includes over 90 new levels and 118 exits across 9 worlds.
Many new features have been added to make this hack feel like a fresh and grand adventure, including new moves for Mario, custom sprites, custom music, updated graphics, and numerous quality-of-life improvements, such as a faster P-Balloon, improved swimming mechanics, and much more.
