Hanafuda, translated as "Flower Game", is a traditional Japanese card game. It consists of 48 cards divided into 12 months of the Japanese calendar. Each month has a floral theme and symbols that Japanese nature offers through the seasons of the year. Each card belongs to a category with a defined point value: there are 5 cards called Light (20 points), 9 cards Tane or Animal (10 points), 10 cards Tanzaku or Ribbon (5 points) and 24 cards Simple or Flower (1 point). The goal is to score the most points at the end of the 6 or 12 rounds by retrieving the cards from the table. To get a card back, the player's card and the card on the table must be of the same month. Points are earned by forming combinations of cards - yaku - with those the player has collected. The game offers a story mode with just a few screens and small dialogues between games during which you confront the characters of the game
