In 2013, it was discovered that the GameCube disc for F-Zero GX also contained the entire functional code for the arcade version, F-Zero AX, accessible via cheat codes.

This patched, ready-to-use version will allow you to start directly on this version of F-Zero AX without having to enter any codes.

Further information :

- When you finish a race, select “Quit” from the menu to return to the title screen as quickly as possible.
- Multiplayer mode is not available on this version.
- It is not possible to emulate the memory card used to save your records or progress. Use SaveStates instead.
- The pause menu is still available, but most of its options cause the game to crash. So be careful.
