This classic-style beat 'em up/platform game respects all the technical limitations of the NES and pushes the boundaries of gameplay on the console.

The story takes place on October 31, 1986, in the peaceful village of Possum Hollow, where two 11-year-old children are eagerly preparing to celebrate Halloween! Before a Halloween evening spent collecting candy, Donny and Tami visit the old farm where Harry, the slightly crazy old farmer, suddenly plunges them into a nightmare. Trapped in his dungeon, on a pile of bones, they must escape and find their way home. They will face hordes of terrifying creatures, monstrous bosses, and natural hazards throughout their journey across the diverse landscapes of Possum Hollow in order to save their town from the curse that has befallen it.
