Arkanoid Revised promotes the idea of a more modern ball-and-paddle game. This hackrom of NES Arkanoid doesn't bring new stages but keep the ancient ones and give them a visual fix.

You now have an inventory in which are displayed warp pills (3 within at the beginning). One can use them by pressing SELECT; for a warp pill isn't activating itself anymore, and you have to decide to do it whenever you want! This will make you skip 2 stages ahead instead of the current one. It is now slightly easier to see these pills.

The speed up option is available pressing B button. 6 extra lives are given to the player at the beginning of a game and the game desplays now up to 9 extra Vaus. Despite they lost, they have the possibility to continue with this new option at the main screen.

Players can continue even after watching the demo and pause the game while the ball isn't moving.

The aforementioned contents cause the loss of continuing and level skip cheatcodes, but some may won't approve of the disappearance of the 2-players mode.
