This Nintendo DS version is similar to its computer cousins. Players build the zoo of their dreams with a variety of animals such as lions, tigers, giraffes, polar bears and more. Players can also place gift stores, soda stands and food stands to satisfy their customers and earn money. Players can also unlock hidden animals and environments by completing certain achievements throughout the game.
While the game is very similar to the others, with obvious differences such as the graphics and the ability to use the Nintendo DS's dual-screen technology, it also features 50 animal cards that give players information about animals around the world.
