Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna is the Nintendo DS port and expansion of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni franchise. It is comprised of four games, and each volume includes one of four new arcs—Someutsushi-hen, Kagebōshi-hen, Tokihogushi-hen and Kotohogushi-hen. Kizuna includes updated sprites different from its predecessor, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri, also developed by Alchemist.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna: Dai Ichi Kan "Tatari" is the first installment in the Kizuna series. It contains Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen, Tatarigoroshi-hen and Someutsushi-hen.
