This work is based on pagers, which were popular at the time. It's a game like that, so it can't be helped, but it's amazing to be able to just use the pager to communicate. Moreover, since time progresses in real time, it tends to be just waiting for the message to come.

The graphics are a little shocking, and judging the game by its cover, you'd imagine talking with a cute girl character, but it's far from that.

Still, the mystery is that many photos of live-action girls are used in the packaging and instructions. When it comes to graphics, I have my preferences, and if I knew that it was a game where I would interact with characters like this, I think it would be possible, but when I look at the live-action package and manual, it seems to be completely betraying. Is it just my imagination that I can only think of it? It's a Game Boy, so it's unreasonable to expect live-action characters to appear as they are, but even so, I imagine that cute characters will appear, and I feel even more betrayed.

The font is also a distinctive character that matches the graphics, and it may be appropriate considering the content of the message, but it seems that you will unintentionally lose your strength.

It's a work full of various tsukkomi, but there are mysterious mistakes in the name input, such as the katakana rarirurero becoming rarirurero.

At the time, the only way to send messages was through a pager, so I think that's why it's a work like this. It is a content that seems to be established even if it is replaced with mobile mail.

In retrospect, the pager boom was only temporary, and it can be said that it is a work that symbolizes that era. In this work, it's probably a pager when it became possible to send messages, but I also felt nostalgic about sending only numbers and communicating like codes. But it's not a work that makes you immerse yourself in that kind of nostalgia.
