Kizuchi da Quiz da Gen-san da!, as the title may suggest, is a quiz game, only released in Japan in 1992 for Game Boy. It is part of Hammerin' Harry universe.
So, it's a common three-choice quiz. Speaking of quizzes, there are many 4 choices, but there also are 3 choice questions. You will advance through the Sugoroku-shaped map, but you cannot choose the number of frames to advance. The game makes you stop at every station. For the time being, you can choose where to branch. A quiz will be given when you stop on a square. There are 10 quizzes in one square.
This game is based on HP, and Mr. Minamoto's initial HP is 100. If you answer one question incorrectly in the quiz, it will be reduced by 10, and if it becomes 0, the game is over. If you clear one square, you recover 10 (20 recovery if you answer all questions correctly).
In addition, there is "pocket money", and you can earn money when you clear the stage or play mini games in the middle of the stage, and you can shop at the squares of the shop. Bought items can be used with the B button when answering. At the end of the stage, the boss will be waiting for you.
