Our nation is under attack by enemy forces, and the defence can only succeed with air and ground support. The future of our nation rests on your shoulders! Gunship is a rail shooter for Nintendo Game Boy. Fight your way through five thrilling missions to repel the attack and restore peace. The game uses vertical auto-scrolling, and you move a crosshair around the screen to quickly shoot down each of the enemy soldiers that appear on either side of the screen, either with heavy machine gun fire or bombs. The machine gun has a reload time, and bombs are limited, so you have to calculate your shots carefully and reload at the right moment. However, it is possible to collect bombs and health throughout the levels.
