The software in the Goukaku Boy Series range (recalling the initials of the Game Boy brand with the Goukaku term, or "success" in Japanese) are not games. These are in fact adaptations of books and exercise books intended for students preparing for university and high school entrance exams. Launched in 1998, the Shikakui Atama O Maruku Suru series ("transforming a cubic brain into a ball" or making the brain more flexible) offers a large number of exercises.
