Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive is a scrolling shooter arcade game released in 1997 by Seibu Kaihatsu, and it's the sequel to Raiden Fighters. In the game, players must take on a new mission using a new generation of fighters to defeat guerrilla forces attacking a new nation. The game introduces a new mechanic, the Hybrid Attack, which can be used when both players are using Gun Dogs fighters. The Hybrid Attack makes both players invincible while firing a powerful energy beam that deals high damage to all targets. There are also increased scoring opportunities with new score-increasing medals and bonuses.
