The 3DO port of Doom is widely known as the worst version of the game to have ever been released, this is a result of Rebecca Heineman (the port's programmer) not having enough time to develop it. Many years later she released the port's source code on Github.

Despite all this, Optimus6128 took it upon himself to improve the port with his hack: OptiDoom.Using the source code as a base this port aims at improving the performance and overall gameplay experience.
