Bengalouf
Hi, I want to play a Pokemon game with the GBA emulator, but I can't choose de speed of the fast forward. I can use "Tab" to go faster, or use "Shift+Tab" to always go faster, but I can't choose how much faster it goes. When I select the speed, like x2, x4, it doesn't work anymore. It happens on every games I try. Thank you for the help !
Sharlugo
With the VisualBoyAdvance emulator, which I personnaly use and recommend using, go in Options > Frame skip. There, you can mess around with the numbers. I set mine to 0 and it switches to 9 (accelerates the game) when I press CapsLock (not Tab). You can also go to Options > Frame skip > Throttle and see how disabling it or chosing a value changes the speed.
Gaga46
what is the name of your emulator? With mGBA, you can choose a multiple of the original speed
Bengalouf
I'm using mGBA because I don't have another choice. When I go into "Vitesse de l'avancée rapide", only "Non lié" works, and it goes too fast. If I select a speed, it doesn't work anymore. I tried to play with or without the sound, enable and disable "Synchro vidéo" and "Synchro audio" but nothing works. I remember years ago choose the speed of the emulator though... Gaga46
you have to syncro to audio to choose the speed also, you can download another emulator on https://www.romstation.fr/emulators
Bengalouf
I tried everything you said Gaga46 but it never worked. So I downloaded antoher emulator (like I had years ago, the VBA M) and it works perfectly. Thank you for the advice you two. Have a great day. 🙂 Gaga46
