The Ultimate Red Ball Challenge is a game based on the British BBC's TV show Total Wipeout, hosted by Richard Hammond, where players attempt to complete obstacle courses. The presenter also hosts this game in FMV live action sequences.
Characters are controlled directly through button presses and wii remote / nunchuk motion movement. Characters are in 3D with cinematic camera angles that constantly change the third-person view. There are six characters to choose from, each with their own traits and personalities. Four are available right away and the remaining two need to be unlocked. The game offers pre-designed shows in the single-player mode and multiplayer games for up to four people. Players can create their custom shows by bringing together different rounds. Several obstacles are unlocked by progressing through the game.
