Attention, don't make a mistake! This is a Super Mario World Hack

This hack is probably on the lower end of intermediate, it was designed for a blind run between two Super Metroid speedrunners, with almost no SMW experience outside of the vanilla game. This hack is also meant to celebrate the overlap between the SMW and Super Metroid communities. (and perhaps to encourage more Super Metroid players to get into SMW hacks)

There is a secret to find in every level except the finale. Many (but not all) secrets lead to an optional challenge, which can sometimes benefit the player, from giving you a hard-to-earn checkpoint, to the point of skipping the rest of the level they're in.
