In this unique RPG from Xing Entertainment, you play as a mermaid trying to uncover the secrets of her race.

Based on an animated series from the mid-90s, the plot goes something like this: Long ago, the goddess Aphrodite created the world, but the jealous Merdam, also known as the Destroyer, challenged her control. After a great battle, the Destroyer was sealed away forever and the people of Meremanoïa prospered, building a civilization in the image of their Creator - peaceful, compassionate and very feminine. At least that is how the Church and the royal family choose to interpret things. What the Mer-Lion priestly caste doesn't like to talk about is the sacred text that predicts the coming of a new Destroyer, who looks like a Meremanoid but isn't. Words cannot describe this being - but only because the mermaid language contains no male adjective. In other words, the Y chromosome is considered the harbinger of the Apocalypse.

There are seamounts, caverns and vast expanses of sand which, for lack of a better term, are called the desert. A cave has a large, high-density mud field that passes for a swamp. There is an area of underwater volcanoes and another under an ice cap.

All this terrain is explored in three dimensions. Mermaids are born swimmers, so instead of just wandering around, the hero must consider all directions.

About the gameplay, you control the mermaid who must swim to discover locations and talk to characters to advance the game's plot. During this time, the player will have to face different types of enemies.

Each character must learn new hit combinations as the game progresses, starting with two or three simple one-hit attacks for their weapon of choice. Each time a critical hit is performed, the character gets another hit. If the combination of first hits and additional hits matches a hit combo for that character's current weapon, a new attack skill is learned.
