SOCOM: US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 is a third-person tactical shooter released in 2010 for the Playstation Portable. The game is developed by Slant Six Games and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The player assumes the role of Calvin "WRAITH" Hopper who is the squad leader of a group of Navy SEALs. He leads his squad on a covert operation in the fictional country of Koratvien to track down and interrogate a man named Vasyli Gozorov, a former KGB agent who is believed to be hiding information about an upcoming attack on Western interests with weapons of mass destruction.

As a squad leader, the player can give a variety of movement commands, positioning and combat tactics to his squad members. WRAITH's squad consists of three men, TORO who is a new member of the group and has just completed his military training, SANDMAN who was his former squad leader, and RAVEN. The game consists of 8 missions and takes place in the fictional country of Koratvien , which is located somewhere in the Baltic Sea and was once part of the Soviet Union. After completing an entire mission, one can replay the mission, create a new mission from scratch or change various mission parameters such as enemy type, enemy density, solo mode, grenade use or difficulty. There are three different mission objectives in the edited mission: Demolition , Neutralization and Knock Out . These three mission objectives can be played in all missions of the game. When you complete main objectives, sub-objectives and bonus objectives in each mission, you earn leadership points. You also earn leadership points in the multiplayer mode and in the edited missions. With leadership points, the player can unlock new weapons and special equipment in the game's armoury. Before each mission in the game, the player can choose a primary and secondary weapon as well as accessories such as explosives, grenades and additional ammunition in the armoury. You can also modify the weapons with scopes, laser sights, grenade launchers, shotguns, grips, etc. The player can also choose and modify the weapons that the group members will have. The game offers up to 70 weapons to choose from.

After the group completes an obstacle course in an American military cruiser in the Baltic Sea, WRAITH and his group infiltrate Gozorov's office in a village in northern Koratvien. The group finds a cache of machine guns and is then attacked by Gozorov's men. The group repels the attack and then finds a wounded soldier. The group interrogates the wounded soldier, who tells them he is a soldier of the Koratvian Revolutionary Army ( KRA ) and reveals their military base. The group heads to a KRA outpost in the town of Koslovosk to seek information about KRA plans. They find a warehouse of additional weapons caches and a hostage who identifies himself as DeBruyn, a member of the private military company Talon International and he reveals to the group that KRA is trying to eliminate all members of Talon International in the country because of something his boss said, which he did not know.

DeBryan reveals that his boss was a man named Rawlins who is believed to be at Talon International's headquarters in a port on an island not far from Koratvien. After defeating the port guards, the group discovers that Rawlins turns out to be LONESTAR , a former SEAL who once worked with SANDMAN. WRAITH asked why the KRA soldiers were trying to eliminate members of Talon International. LONESTAR told us that he had discovered some kind of chemical weapon of mass destruction that his company was tasked with transporting. He revealed this to the company and they decided to refuse the mission, so the KRA were forced to kill them to keep the chemical weapons secret. LONESTAR reveals to the group that the chemical weapons are located in an old disused missile base in northern Koratvien. The group heads to the missile base, with the goal of destroying the weapons. They entered the main building where the chemical weapons barrels were located and TORO confirmed that they contained cyclosarin , an extremely toxic substance used in chemical weapons. They separated them into binary format, making it easier for the group to destroy them. The group was then ambushed by the KRA and TORO was captured by them.

At a ski resort in southeast Koratvien, the group frees TORO, but during their escape, LONESTAR is killed by a sniper. The group decides to take revenge on LONESTAR and sabotages the KRA's communication station in the south of Koratvien, cutting off all communications throughout the country. Then the group locates Gozorov, who is hiding in an old Prussian mansion. The group kills Gozorov's bodyguards, destroys a combat helicopter and finally gets hold of Gozorov, but when he refused to give up, they are forced to kill him. They also discover that KRA plans to hire the president of Koratvien and kill him. The group heads to the city of Koslovosk, stops the KRA attack and saves the president. They successfully stop the KRA and their nuclear war, and the group can finally return home.
