FIFA 18 is a football simulation video game developed and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3. It is the 25th installment in the FIFA series and features Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo as the cover athlete. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, marketed as FIFA 18: Legacy Edition, do not contain any new gameplay features and are identical to the previous release aside from updated kits and squads. FIFA 18 simulates association football and includes 52 fully licensed stadiums from 12 countries, as well as 30 generic fields for a total of 82. The game also includes the third tier of Germany's Bundesliga, the Iceland national football team, the Saudi Arabia national football team, and both the men's and women's national New Zealand teams. EA Sports have introduced Quick Subs into FIFA 18, which allows players to make substitutes when the ball goes out of play. In Career Mode, players can watch interactive transfer negotiations and see new signings unveiled in cut scenes.

Why can't I find the Journey mode in the game?

In FIFA 18: Legacy Edition, the Journey mode does not exist. This mode, which follows the story of Alex Hunter, a young footballer trying to make a name for himself in the professional football world, was present in the standard version of FIFA 18. However, it was not included in the Legacy Edition.

 

The Legacy Edition of FIFA 18 is a special version primarily designed for older consoles, such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It does not include all the features found in the Frostbite game engine used for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. These editions feature gameplay improvements and mode innovations that are not possible on Legacy Edition platforms.
