World Circuit, a title to be classified in the same category as F1 Circus, is far from reaching the quality of the latter. Certainly, the game made its impact in 1987, when it was released in arcades, but on PC Engine, it offers less sensations to players, proving to be somewhat outdated on a technical level. Added to its stripped-down graphics are fast but jerky scrolling to the point of becoming tiring, non-existent music as well as irritating sound effects. Without forgetting the absence of collision between vehicles which may surprise the purist. Nevertheless, it offers extensive game modes as well as fairly precise handling which allow it to climb onto the podium of the genre on PMC Engine, even if it proves inferior to its successors.
