This is a straight forward hack that simply replaces the green-colored “blood” with the more appropriate red blood. It is more in lieu with what the original developers had in mind, but Namco could not approve due to the strict censorship at the time. The developers have mentioned so in interviews.

If you like the original green slime, this hack is obviously not for you.

This is a strictly color-editing hack, no further changes were made. The game is left just as you remember, but blood is now red, that is all.
