NFL's Greatest: San Francisco vs. Dallas 1978-1993 is a Sega Mega-CD "game". It is themed around American football, though rather than have the user play a game of it, the game merely has them watch highlights spanning fifteen years of the sport.
NFL's Greatest is an FMV football coaching simulation featuring two of the most popular teams in NFL history: the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams are represented by clips from 25 years of NFL archive footage. The game is quite simple to play: each team chooses a play, then footage is played showing the outcome of the selected choices and the in-game display is updated to reflect the new standing. It is possible for a single player to be the coach of either team, for two players to go head-to-head, or to watch the computer select plays for both teams -- just like watching a real football game!
