Shaman King, popular from the manga and TV anime, was adapted into a card game with "Chou Senjiryakketsu". This card game has been compiled into this Game Boy version.
The player's objective is to become a resident of Funbari Hill and engage in card battles with the shamans living in that town to win the official tournament. This game includes all 279 real cards fully integrated, as well as original cards exclusive to the Game Boy. Naturally, players will need to devise battle strategies considering these additions. The rules are identical to those of the actual card game, and visual scenes are included for shaman sets, spirit summons, and attacks.
Additionally, two versions of the game, "Funbari Version" and "Mera Mera Version", which differ in card appearance rates, have been released.
