Scramble is a screen oriented cryptogram game that takes a
set of "clues" (usually words or phrases) that are (presumably)
bound by a theme. Scramble scrambles the alphabet so that each
letter is mapped or assigned to another letter, thus establishing
an encryption scheme. Each letter is guaranteed to be mapped to
a letter other than itself and the mappings are unique. That is,
no two letters can be mapped to the same letter. The player is
then presented with the clues in their scrambled form along with
the unscrambled theme. As with cryptogram type puzzles, the
object in Scramble is to figure out what all the clues are by
cracking the encryption code (or at least that part of it that is
used in the clues). A prime feature of scramble is the ease with
which one can create his or her own puzzles.
